Code Lyoko Theme Park Ride?

...Well, more of a theme park activity than an actual "ride" persay...but still...CL's getting featured at an amusement park!

Just to help you all with the translation, the long and short of it is that, Futuroscope, a sort of theme/activity park for kids has designed a new attraction based around Code Lyoko.

The attraction takes place in an enclosed space (think Laser Tag-like arena), that will be based off of Lyoko's colors. Combattants will shoot at each other with "Nerf-like" ball guns, and able to take up positions both in an arena-like area and a higher up mezzanine level (which might mean it will be Sector 5-inspired).

The name of the attraction will be called, "Objectif Lyoko" ("Objective: Lyoko"), and will open in 2008.

Just imagine in the UK if they make a roller coaster based on Captain Beefheart's music or make a Silverchair/Grinspoon/Powderfinger ride over at Village Roadshow Theme Park in Sydney.

Code Lyoko's a mid-carder cartoon at best in the States. You may think it's the best thing ever in the world, and a few others will agree with you on that, but there's a world outside that says that Code Lyoko isn't really that popular. At France, it's a huge thing.

It's true with bands like that, like Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa, and Pavement (all who are enormously popular in England, but only in certain groups in America). We don't care about the good stuff. That's why dumb films like The Comebacks and Epic Movie earn money.
