The colour of ones eyes

Well I recently rewatched episode 84 and I was amazed when I saw this picture.

If I'm not mistaken this is the only shot in the entire series in which a character has an eye color....... and who does the pretty eye belong to? Well its the pilot Elvis
So why was this guy given an eye color.... and why did his eye change back to being a black dot as soon as the shot was over... who knows.

I guess my challenge to you is this. Can you find another place in the show where a character has an eye color?
Discuss.

It's pretty common knowledge that Aelita had green eyes at one point.

William's clone has dark blue eyes. The pupil shrank when Jeremy was messing around with its personality in the episode "Wreck Room."

Unless it's drawn in the "big eyes small mouth" format, most artists draw eyes as a single black dot, or at least as far as I know. It's both easier and more realistic, since the pupil generally takes up more of the eye than the iris does except when looking into bright light. In a close-up, I would assume that they would be able to draw the eyes larger, and thus would have an easier time showing the actual color.
