Why do you think CL isn't playing on CN?

My guess is that CN won't play it on Cable so not many people will watch it and the rating won't go up.
So Moonscoop won't be able to make a Season 5 if there is going to be one.

I keep saying, even if CN was good in the beginning, please just switch it to FOX and take off from there! Even though the Simpsons may make it into a satire, if it keeps with its action-y plot, people will actually watch FOX other for Family Guy and the Simpsons.

In fact, why not let me explain my changes:

1. Add some profanity in there, but not too harsh, in a Lenny Bruce-like way. This is not South Park or Family Guy...or even Bart's mouth. This is from the minds of teenagers in France.

2. Give me some action, that good ol' John McClane-esque action! I want XANA to make people die! I want buildings that explode like Milton Krest!

3. Put in, from time to time or even rare, some artist we haven't heard of. Let Aelita own a copy of "Trout Mask", for Pete's sake. We need some chart success for that weirdo!

4. More plot development! Raise it to a TV 14 without losing its innocence! Not enough kids actually watch the series and think, "That's good." They watch it just for the wet humor and Ulrich's bad puns, which need to stop.

5. Backstories! Even Sissi! I'm on you with this one, Taelia!

6. Don't make it sell out, but if it can make a profit, like the Simpsons, without getting on food containers, that's not really selling out. Get some figurines, some rebel-ad t-shirts, and an actual soundtrack album instead of the Subdigitals singing about the Internet, school, clubs, and fun.

7. No guest stars. This is the anti-Simpsons and a pro-MST3K of sorts. We don't need to see a XANA-fied Tony Hawk and Steven Tyler fighting Jeremy on the Eiffel Tower...with "Moonlight on Vermont" playing, although that would make for some good fanfiction fodder. (Is bricked.)

8. Finally, make Aelita wear a shirt, jeans, and sneakers once in a while! The dress, even though it fits her character, makes her into a Methodist clone. (No insults to Methodists.)

9. Keep the original VAs. We're used to them.

10. Try to make fun of FOX. Don't let the Simpsons be alone on this.


For the game, I also have other suggestions, but I'd rather not talk about it yet.

That would be utterly impossible. The show would have lose innocence in some shape or form or why would the rating be higher?

And (for the nth time of telling) TV-14 would mean those under 14 shouldn't be watching, which screws the show out of a huge part of it's audience. TV-PG would be tricky enough.

How about 4KidsTV? It's on Fox and it's the preceder thing of FoxBox (Remember FoxBox anyone?)

I mean, they play really weird shows like "Chaotic." Code Lyoko, would give 4kidsTV a nice boost.

Oi oi, don't diss Ojamajo Doremi. :< 4Kids just made a botch-up dubbing it just like with all the anime they dub. (It's a shoujo anime a la Sailor Moon, though, so that may be another matter of dislike altogether |<) 'Mew Mew Power' made me cry like a sad onion when I saw what they did to it. o_e [/4Kids haet]

My guess is that CN have other shows that recieve 'better ratings' and so they boot CL over to the online thingy they have so the fans aren't disappointed. They probably thought all the fans were computer-associated anyway... ¬_¬

CN UK not showing anything anymore with no visible reason is common from what I've seen. CL probably wasn't popular enough over here, but the US is a big country compared to here so they should have higher standards... *ramble*

Maybe the "Tech Links case" has something to do with that? CN didn't air #78 because fans made an unofficial English version. From my point of view everything is possible if CN is so sensitive about copyright things...

But now, this new preceder. Added more girly shows and stuff less actiony.

You're nuts. They didn't air it because of a system error. When they switched the timeslots CL was in around the date that was supposed to air, their systems registered that it DID air. They didn't NOT air it becuase some idiot made a fansub of it >.> Techlinks has absolutely NOTHING to do with it....

Funimation should always do the anime.
