A meeting to discuss the plans for CL

Ok.. before you read this. remind your'self's that nothing is etched in stone yet. and that this may just be a road bump.

Ok first the possible news. that was posted on the CL forum. the english version.

Moonscoop has currently stopped working on the 3 animated movies we were hoping to have for 2009 due to co-producers not being interested in creating them. However, Moonscoop is still looking for ways to continue the stories (live action movie, new site...) although nothing is concrete yet.

We are working on books that will reveal backstory information and get more into details of some of the mysteries of the show.

Sorry of this piece of news is not as fun as you had hoped.

So what does this mean you are possibly wondering? Does this mean the show's over? does this mean the end. Here is my analysis

It means the show is still on hold. It has become incredibly obvious that no matter how much CN loose in ratings. they still enjoy the 'Shows" they have on the air now. I think it would be a bad idea for CL to return to a sinking ship. so they are possibly looking for a new market to show thier work on.

The CO Porducer's are people who help Producer's work on finishing a product or movie. they are like back up for ideas and thoughts. they also help with production, like picking cast and stroy lines. The Producer's are still interestaded. its thier co producer's that arent.



Another thing i noticed is that the French site has not posted anything yet. and this was posted yesterday in the mourning. Surely by now the french site would have a post about it by now. which leads to....POSSIBLE. misinfomation. With the news of this big event happening in november or december. Why would they announce it then throw it away?

then again. Bungie (The guys who made Halo) attempted to announce Halo 3 recon Back in may but had to temporaily scrap it. It was later anounced this last week. so its possible CL maybe going through the same issue Bungie did.

The Admin who posted this went on to say that Moonscoope would not let the show go without a fight. meaning that they are still wanting to continue the series no matter what.


So for now i would suggest you guys take this as a RUMOR. i emphizise that because im sure people who read this will start to freak when they read the first paragraph. But consider this though. things take time to happen. The first season had a almost year pause till season 2 showed up. and look how long it took for Movies like Spider man and Superman to make a movie. A original Spider man movie was planned back in 1990. and look how long it took superman to return.

Il keep you posted on the news. but like i said. take this as a rumor for now.

Kinda disappointing to hear about the movies, but hey, that's good enough for me! Those are coming out in February, right? 8DDD

If it's just a rumor, though, I won't be too upset. I'd be a bit disappointed, but happy it got any time in the open at all.

I really do wish the show and movies get back on track, though.
