I own the complete first season 3-disc set.

If you mean from the second season onward, I don't know.

So far, I haven't seen anything relating to that subject. And as always, France is getting more attention than us. :/ (All of the episodes are either available to them or DVD or planned, as far as I know.)

I would attribute it to Cartoon Network, like mostly all of the other problems we've encountered, but I don't know if they get to decide that or hold the DVD publishing rights.

Funimation holds the DVD rights in America, but doesn't seem to remember (or is trying to forget) they do.

Which puts quite the wrench in my plans to get my CL and Shin-Chan seasons from the same reliable source.
My SN is spelled Feld, not Field. Keep getting it right, Carth.
I has opinions. On things.

If anything, some devoted fans should just pool their copies of the CL episodes, compile it into a giant movie, put chapter markers to indicate each episode, and then just burn it onto a bunch of DVDs.
Best solution thus far.
I really gotta fix up this theme

Kinda falls into a grey area, how can it be illeagle if we don't have the option to buy it in the first place?

Grey area, yeah, but I would say better safe than sorry and not take the risk.

Although I think it has something to do with the copyright distribution that makes it illegal, because I don't believe we have the rights to publish anything that belongs to MoonScoop and sell it for profit.

Hence what I was saying about just using it for personal use, not for redistrobution.

Well allow me to clear this question. Funimation Lost the rights to publish Code Lyoko DVDs. Moonscoope is know currently looking for a new distributor for thier DVDS. they have narrowed it down to two possible distributors. Now mind you. this is old old news. back when kabillion hit the market. they posted a interview with one of the creators where he discussed what he had planned.
been thier, destroyed that, saved them,

The second season if my favorite. I'd rather like to have it on DVD.

I taped some of the episodes, but it's just not the same.

Not that the first season DVD is exactly brimming with features...

I actually have all 4 seasons in the highest quality techlinks offered on my computer. When ever i finish with my avatar dvd's, i might work on a cl dvd. It is though a bit illegal. But, thats what torrents are for... :-)

Just don't redistribute it.
As long as you keep it for private use and DON't SELL IT, no problems.

Regardless, my router doesn't like Torrenting.
Not my computer, my router.

I'm wondering, can i just distribute a dvd container without getting in trouble? I'll just give links to torrents with the most seeds, and bam. I'll think about it.

Well you can not legally distribute it in as a DVD. Keep in mine none of use (including yourself) own the license to Code Lyoko, so you can’t legally distribute it. The only reasons sights that have torrent downloads can do it without getting in trouble is because there not the ones hosting the files. The same goes to the company that does lime wire; they are not hosting the files, so they can’t get in trouble. If you do choose to go threw with this, don’t expect any support from any type of forum, because this kind of project can get a site shut down, or worse, sued.

Back to topic, I would be very disappointed if they don’t release a DVD for season 2, 3, and 4. I would also be very surprised. I will keep my ear to the ground and will tell everyone if I see any news about it. Although the Code Lyoko Chatter online has kind of died down.
