Herman Martin Showreel with CL music!

Visiting CL co-composer Herman Martin's site I came upon this post:

"This is my animation/game showreel which contains extracts from Code Lyoko and horror stuff….its all a bit edgy but I think it does the job!"

It has about 5 minutes of music from the show.

After listening to this I REALLY want an original soundtrack CD of the series.

And I was moved to tears when I heard the music played during Jeremie & Aelita's walk in the moonlight in the S1 finale.

What does the last theme(from 6:17) come from? I remember hearing it, but can't give a particular scene...

The one starting at 3:06 is something I remember very well. It was the background music for the first glimpse of CL i ever saw, and it was the music that brought me in. For some reason, I remember those particular notes more than anything, and I've always ad it tucked away in the back of my head.

Of course, I thought CL was some weird spinoff of DBZ, sooooo...

After rewatching S1, I found that the "love theme" was also played at the end of "Routine" in that UxY almost kiss but it didn't touch me as much as the JxA scene.

it was the music that brought me in.

Same here for me. Music can make or break a show. Thank you, Herman Martin and Serge Tavitian.

Someone really needs to catalog all the music used in the show.

I'm listening to it right now, and I have to say this is an amazing find. I can't wait to extract William's theme... I loved that bit of battle music.
