Question About Aelita

Postby Pichu lover! » Sun Dec 04, 2005 10:21 pm

Since Aelita is in human form, if she went back to Lyoko and lost all her life points, would she be lost or just dematerialize?

I don't think it's just that "easy" to answer this question. Buy maybe I'm wrong. Things for Aelita has changed...

Though, if she loses all her LP, Jeremie can use a piece of hair and get her alive again, as TB3 said. But since the Scyphozoa had some taste from her (but everytime it happens, the Scyphozoa has to absorb her mind since the begining), I don't know if that would alterate the process.

I always thought that the rematerialization program would have been there from the start, not written by Jeremie. Would be kinda odd of the creators to create a way to get into the virtual world, but not a convenient way to get out.

But as of currently, Aelita still maintains her weakness of death if devirtualized, which we believe stems from the fact that she is a truly synthesized human. Though they could always pick hairs from her head to use as a way to replicate her. Though she would have some memory loss, depending on what is stored on her hair. For all we know, the memory contained on that hair could only be up until her first materialization, and a recreation of Aelita will basically give her amnesia dating back a few months. That would be a bit of an inconvenience to them. Only a theory though.

Aelita has to be devirutalise in a tower also. I'm guessing that when Aelita gets in a tower Jeremie runs his rematerialization program and she gets devirutalise. The others just get the program ran whenever and they get rematerialized. I have no idea what the tower does to let Aelita be divirutalised though. Better link to Jeremie?

TB3 wrote:True - Jeremie can only remove Aelita via the Materialisation Program that he wrote for her - the others Devirutalise automatically or via the Rematerialisation program he wrote.

Current theory is that if Aelita 'died' her data would basically scatter across Lyoko.

But I think the tower holds more information about Aelita than anything else the super computer holds. And The scanners....don't know about them. Therefore he only can DE-virtualize her in there. Also like TB3 said her information would probably be scattered across Lyoko. Or across the towers

I think she would go back to Earth. At the begining she only had her computer code (her human code taken by XANA). Jeremie reconstructed her DNA and has it saved in many places making it very hard for XANA to destroy. NOW (thanks to Season 2) when Aelita got her memories back she also regained her original DNA so she could only be deleted if she fell into the digital sea.

Since this topic has resurfaced, what does everyone believe now knowing what we know? It was always assumed that Aelita would bite the big one if she lost all her points, but that was under the assumption she was a digital being. We know she's human now, and that Xana stole her memories, not genetic code. Anybody think differently?

And speaking of what Season two did. In the key at the end didnt she get devurtulized derectly from sector 5? So that also proved the point, she doesnt need towers anymore.

Aelita couldn't be devirtualized automatically upon losing her life points because she was not complete.

But now that she has her human memories, she is complete and therefore will be devirtualized upon losing her life points.

W e do not have a lot to go on but based on Missing Link I would have to say
Chosen_one is likely correct.
Now that Aelita has her fragment back it should have the same effect on her as it did on Yumi.
She would devirtulize not die.

In reality it will depend on what the writers think provides the best storylines.

She's normal Aelita Hopper again, so, most likely, she'll devirtualize unless XANA does something like delete her while she's on Lyoko. I think that, since they're really on Lyoko, if they're deleted then they die. But XANA may not have that kind of power in Lyoko.

"Mrs. Della Robbia, here is your newborn child," said the doctor.
The baby had a purple streak on his cone-shaped hair.
"That's odd..." said Mrs. Della Robbia.
The doctor wrote down on the name space on the birth certificate
"Odd Della Robbia".

And that's how he got his name!
