that quote comes from my friends who all love manga and anime as much as I do, and yet they never question the Japanese art form of comically distorted faces, random cat ears and tails, and chibi characters when the situation calls (to say nothing of the requisite large eyes compared to the rest of the face). They accept anime style of drawing fine, and they can't suspend their disbelief for a French cartoon where the kids have large foreheads? LOL! some people...

The dialogue is probably the worst part about the show. It is all so lame and cliché. You'd think they could hire a better writer who doesn't use stupid junk like:

"We've got to materialize into this 3-D world, whatever the hell it's called!" "No, we've got to materialize into class or we'll be late!"

Then there's the animation. The idea of 2-D characters having access to a 3-D world is cool, but I really don't like the way the characters are drawn. Humongous foreheads, squinted eyes, and hair that looks like it came straight out of Dragon Ball Z. Honestly, they all look like they have down syndrome or something!

This is just one of those general things you see on imdb, along with the repetitive whining that the dubbing is awful (those claims DEFINATELY have no grounds).

That one I found to be the most offensive in particular. Not only does this person have no grounds for his arguement but he also manages to make himself (or herself) look like a really insensitive person with that "Down's Syndrome" statement. How does he think people who actually have that disease (or the people who know them) would feel about such an entirely rude statement (since it's obviously said with an exceedingly negative connotation)?

This is something that, I think, happens to lots of fans of this kind of shows. Because you aren´t a little kid, people treates you like a stupid or something like that when they know you like CL. Of course that isn´t nice, I don´t like it, but... Anyway you get used to it.
But, I don´t worry... that´s why there are places like this, where are people with the same interests as you.
I won´t let them change my way of thinking about CL!

Holy s**t... Zanna... I've heard that before.. something among the lines of "I don't get it, they're fighting some zana dude, and they're really dumb... this show sucks, just like every show in Jetix", heard that from some latinamerican forum. florencia knows well about these kind of stuff (to Flor: vos sabés como la gente habla mal de Code Lyoko... hacen comentarios muy tontos sobre CL en sí).
