[ Since there's an Odd x Sissi topic, I figured this couple deserved a thread as well. ]

Though this couple is far from cannon, There are still many people who see it as possible. I, for example, am a fan of Odd & Aelita.

Many reasons is because Odd seems to care a great deal for Aelita, giving her nicknames such as, 'Princes'
He's also usually showing hints of, 'flirting' with her.

Surpised there's no JxA thread (at least, not a popular one since I don't remember seeing one recently).

As to OxA: I still think he flirts with her just to tease her ("I just love making you blush") and wouldn't make any kind of play at her with Jeremy in the way. Pity he didn't: She might have told him about his foot problem a whole season sooner.

OxA is ok but I've read it a thousand times and it just doesn't click with me.

I've seen UlrichxSam and that was just...SCARY.

(Hence my user name I'm not a total bomber of OxA)


Plus to me Odd is WAY too daring. Kind of like this-"Oh hey lets jump off a cliff just for the fun!" and knowing Aelita, she's more cautious at least.

And those kind of personalities don't go too well..From experience really...I'm like Odd and my last Boyfriend was one of those loners and stays inside all day.

Well, sometimes those sorts of personalities can compliment each other, and a more brash personality can help draw out a more closed-in one ^^ I know that's happened to me ^^


But anyway yes, I am a bigBIG Odd/Aelita fan ^^ (Heck, my current sig banner is even an OxA one xDD ). I even wrote a fanfic for it once, but FF.net removed it because of "copyright violation"

Don't get me wrong, I'm a J/A supporter as well. But there's something about O/A that just makes me go "squee" inside ^^


Besides, we ALL know pink and purple are two of the best colors together ;P xD

I was watching 'Final Mix' the other day, and William and Odd were looking at Aelita whom was DJing.
William looked at Odd and said, "Your cousin is incredible Odd!"

I think there is a tension between them, on purpose even, but OxA will never materialize, she's just too invested in Jeremie for all intents and purpoes already. It's one of those fun things to explore in fanfiction and debate, but I just can't get into it since I usually support a ship on the grounds I can see it being interesting and done well in canon.

And ALT, yeah I can see what you're getting at. And in a way, it's something I believe myself; I don't see them actually getting together (at least not for very long), but I find it cute and I like drawing pics for it, or writing for it, so I consider myself a supporter ^^

In the cartoon? Probably not. Though I guess anything's possible.

But if this were real life, I think it could work. They would be the 'fun' couple. They would be the two that everyone would like to double date with, or take on vacation, basically. xD

Even though my OTP is hands down UlrichYumi, Odd and Aelita are probably my absolute favorite to draw. I dont even know why, I enjoy myself way too much drawing them. ^___^;;

I don't hate OxA, I can see why people support it. But I'm already hopelessly in love with JxA and probably not about to change anytime soon.

The one thing though that turns me away from the pairing is most fanfics (I say MOST, not ALL, because I have read a few fics that don't do this) have Aelita and Odd getting together because Jeremie is either dead, beating Aelita, or something else along those lines and Odd comes to the rescue or something. But I have read some good angsty OxA one-shots from Odd's POV.

But yeah.... I don't hate OxA. I just don't support it.

Yes, quite. I wouldn't be surprised if Aelita did have a crush on someone else (be it Odd, Yumi or whoever), but is too loyal to Jeremy to do anything about it.

Taking a look at the celebrities they can't hide anything. (Well they can but somebody always finds out.) But my point is, if they secretly date you know the gang will start wondering where they are or where they are or whatever. SOMEBODY will find out too...

It's true; But Odd is very quick on his feet. If someone spotted the two together, doing something romantic and questioned it, he could just as easily think of something... Like, "We were only cousins by marriage, duh. Their not married anymore, so... Yea."-Odd.
