Code Lyoko DS in Nintendo Power!
This month’s issue of Nintendo Power features a blip on the CL game, and it also features an advertisement of the game.
Mentioned in the blip on page 28 were:
- June Release Date
- New Pictures (Ulrich fighting Creepers Aelita in her room, and a teacher talking to Odd)
- 15 Levels on Earth
- 40 Levels on Lyoko
- Ulrich has a sword and can super sprint over platforms
- Yumi has her fans but can only use telekinesis on small objects
- Odd uses his arrows and can climb onto strange surfaces
- Aelita has no weapon, not even her energy blasts, but she can levitate over gaps and trenches and deactivates towers.
- To deactivate a tower you must solve puzzle-like activity.
- There are 30 minutes of video sequences (It says that this is video from the show’s first 3 seasons, but I’m not to sure)
Obviously the AD is outdated, because the game has been rated by now, and even though the domain name has been registered, the website is not yet online. However, the blip on page 28 might also be wrong, for all the websites say that the game will be out in May, not in June!
I hope the review falls into the wrong reviewer's hands, resulting in a tidal wave of hate mail from us because said reviewer knocked points off for CL being French.
No names because I haven't picked up an NP since Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation was reviewed and only got mid 6s.

Why the TL watermark? You don't own Nintendo Power and you don't own Code Lyoko.
I was a little irked by this as well. Something along the lines of 'scanned by Wartonchan @ Techlinks' would have been better. Everything I see on the internet scanned from something like a fan-translated manga series always has 'scanned by -----' in the credits somewhere. Never (C)wetranslatestuff.org. Just a thought, 'cause it makes you sound pretty possessive of something that isn't really your work with your current WM.
On the plus side, it doesn't look all that bad. At least IGN didn't write the article... *shudder* This gives the game a good starting rep. Important stuffs when it comes to the gaming industry.
Warton, that isn't what they are referring to. They are referring to the fact that you said "Copyright" instead of "Scanned by." You did scan it, but saying "Copyright Wartonchan" makes the assumption that you literally own it (which you don't, you merely scanned it so others could see).
I'm going by what they were stating. I'll check again and make sure, but I thought I saw that, as well. I understand what you meant, but perhaps you put the wrong thing in on accident? Or perhaps I mistook what everyone else stated.
EDIT: Oh, I must've been thinking of something else that said it. I had looked at them before, but didn't notice what it was referring to. Watermarks are typically used to state that "this site extracted the information" or whatever. Gamespot, IGN, and other such gamesites put watermarks on game movies, and sometimes even screenshots and artworks. Doesn't mean they own them, it means that they received it and didn't want anyone else claiming it. By putting a watermark, people who take stuff and post it on their own websites cannot claim that they were the ones that made it.
I hate how I don't have a DS. (Not just because of this- Fullmetal Alchemist- Dual Sympathy and Cooking Mama would be nice to have, too.)
Sounds pretty cool. Still, I wish they'd let you play as Jeremie... Or maybe they'll release an entire game where you play as Jeremie, and you actually get to do some hacking and run the supercomputer and all. It could have a whole lot to do with Franz Hopper's diary or something. With XANA attacks thrown in there at random intervals that are always changing! And then you'd have to get the coordinates right in Lyoko, and then do a RTTP- but if you make a mistake, it could be fatal...
That is, if anyone else would be geeky enough to play it.

Wow, it's got an E-10+ rating. Weird. I figured it would be E. That's rather interesting. I'm waiting for the Wii game, though. I don't have a DS and don't intend on getting one. I also don't have a Wii, but I do intend on getting one.
