That's actually how I found out about TVT...I went looking for a synopsis of the first episode so that I could find out exactly who XANA was and how they'd found him. TVT had a synopsis of "TeddyGozilla" so I went and checked it out there. ^.^

We're all still waiting for that explanation though, almost two years later. :*D

I went to Cartoon Network's site for more info about CL and it directed me to TVTome. I then went to look for info on it at IMDb only to find that CL wasn't listed there... The IMDb entry came up a few weeks later.

It was from that first search for CL at IMDb that I learned of the Soviet movie Aelita from 1924.

Maybe they *will* make the prequel, or maybe they'll just leave it as a mystery, like the origins of Tom Bombadil and the reason why the One Ring does not affect him in any way.

Lol! True! That is indeed a possibility! :*D

I'd almost forgotten about that "Aelita" movie. XD I'd love to watch that...just to see what it was about. ^^

I think it went something like, "Hey Jake, watch this show. I think it's kinda cool." BTW, if you've ever spent a lot of time in the official forums, you'd know that they are making a prequel.

*raises hand* Yep.

Hmm... now that I remember, the way I wanted more info about CL wasn't by finding the official site. I used to lurk through TvTome for info about Buffy The Vampire Slayer, ER, Friends, Angel, among other shows. Very good info I found, just enough to not bother joining the forums. So I remembered TvTome as a good source for information... and I lurked through CL after watching the Garage Kids prequel.

I remembered I made a thread for that thing at TvTome. Although, I got that info by just typing "Aelita" in Google. Yes, I tried that for each characther. XD

One day I was going to watch Teen Titans only CL came on instead and I was really mad only I didn't know where the flipper was and I was too lazy to get up and turn the TV off manually so I just watched CL and I loved it! I'm hooked.

Mewberries151 wrote:(The so-called "big foreheads" were never a turn-off, as quite frankly I didn't even notice them until I started frequenting TVT and someone made that comment. I still don't understand why that bothers people. ^^; )

Me neither. There's different styles of animation, the French just happen to use big foreheads and those kind of eyes (which I can never seem to draw, ARGH!), like Japan uses really detailed eyes, etc. We all have our own style of animation, and French is not something to be made fun of, it is something to be gawked at (I read too much Junie B. Jones. The one where she says Lennie's hair is like an interesting glob of artwork, and art should just be gawked at. I'm supposing she means it in a good way =P).

I try to keep the episodes on tape but every time I see a new one I tape that one over the previous one. I erased some of "Ghost Channel" WAAH! I hate myself for that. It's my favorite episode besides "The Chips are Down" (since Jeremie looked 00ber cute!!) and "The Key" (which, face it, was just amazing).

My friend Dina watches it and my friends at my sleepovers watch it (CAUSE I FORCE THEM TO!)

Nyah.

well, I was flipping channels when i caught the cl theme. I loved it and started watching it. My first episode was "laughing fit." It completely confused me but i watched more episodes (killer music) and eventually understood it. By then i was hooked!
CODE LYOKO. PERIOD.

I wish I could be Jeramy. He is smarter than I am (which is saying something), has almost no enemies, has 4 friends, a cute girlfriend and access to the world's most powerful computer. He really has the life!

I'd have to say that I was introduced to CL while flipping through channels and just started watching it. I guess it was in part for the theme song that got me hooked.
I'm not sure which episode it was that I saw first but I sat and watched it. It completely confused me at first, but I watched more episodes and eventually understood it. Now, I find myself sitting down to watch it every day!

When I first saw I thought to myself "Oh no not another crappy knock off of an anime show." That was my thought. When they kept playing CL I finally gave in and watched it. Well as you can see I'm a huge fan of it other wise I wouldn't be here.
Also a side note one of my teachers watches CL too! Anytime I see him he yells out "Return to the past!" and moves his hands in a circle motion. And sometimes we get into heated talk about the show.

Man, I wish one of my teachers...or any of my friends, watched Code Lyoko. Sadly, only one person I know watches it, and we hate each other. I'd love to talk to another fellow CL lover and confuse everybody else nearby.

is she MY nick, or nickolodian, or what? Nick's not evil, he's just...stupid!(got that off the radio). That little girl seems awesome, as long as she dont touch odd, cyrus, or negi, I'm fine. Going off topic: My teacher watched inuyasha once and called Inuyasha a girl.

HEY!! It was all erin and katy's idea, cause they took the hot guys, and they didn't want to set me up with herb, so they gave me nick. I grew to like it.
