Yeah, I think that that's what happened, because the music in the trailer is so much better than the music in the English and French trailers. The Japanese trailer's music maintains the suspense and dramaticness throughout the entirety of the trailer, instilling a lasting feeling of excitement for the actual show, but the English and French trailers usually end with "A World Without Danger" or "Un Monde Sans Danger," a song which, melodically, is totally unrelated to the dramatic music used at the beginning of the trailers.

And...? If they took the time to redub it and conform it to other Chinese animation standards, it's still a viable part of fandom. Just look at codelyoko.cn.

Okay, thanks to the talented and patient toho from deviantART, I now know the lyrics to the Japanese theme song.
I asked her if she knew of a place where I could hear it or download it, she knew of neither. However, she knew the lyrics. (I assume by heart or she had some source she didn't feel like sharing, as I asked her for a site like that too.)

toho, as some of you may know, is a pretty talented person in Japan whose deviantART account gallery is composed of nothing but Super Monkey Hyper Force Go characters and dozens of pictures of Code Lyoko characters, mainly Aelita. Although spamming her with thanks and notes is really something I hope no one does because of me, I encourage everyone to check out her gallery, maybe comment and favorite some of her fan art, etc. I owe her a few extra views. http://toho.deviantart.com/

She says she didn't know the title. My guess is it's either something like "kiken nashi de sekai ga" (My transliteration "A world without danger") or it's the first line of the song.

My entire side of the conversation was in Japanese. I assume I was understandable the whole time, as she answered all of my questions. But, for the same reason I wrote in Japanese (for politeness and to practice) she wrote in English. So, she gave me the lyrics in English letters, 'romaji'. I'm not great with lyrics, but I'll give it my crack and if anyone knows better please correct me.

These are the lyrics that she gave me (with my translation following):

Aaah... yeah, I like your translation better. I see where I goofed. Dang, lyrics are always hard.
First line makes sense, second line, I must've just not been thinking. Third line... same. And the fourth line, that new-to-me interjection 'hora' confused me and I was thinking 'kawaru' was being used as a transitive verb. Thanks.

Er... yes. As my second to last post said, I got them from a big Code Lyoko fan in Japan (toho of DeviantART, if you honestly didn't read my second to last post, please do. It explains this).

Now that we have the lyrics, I figured it'd be easier to find the lyrics on the internet. I was wrong. Oh well, this is something, and I'm very happy we have these now.
