In Aelita's Episode #82 flashback (to the mountain chalet), we see an SUV used by some Men-In-Black to kidnap Anthea - and it's fitted with a UK licenseplate!
The identifier is that we see the vehicle's rear - the registration plate is yellow, and starts with a letter - though the colour matches French rear registration plates, the use of a letter as a prefix destinguishes it as a British vehicle, as French cars use numeric prefixes.
My one thought is that it looks like a remarkably modern vehicle - from a distance the license-plate year designator looks to be either an 'L' or 'M', which would indicate a van from the mid-1970s - but that machine looks more like the present-day Landrover Discovery, when we know this occurs sometime in the 80s when Aelita was a little girl (shrug).
If I am right though (and I admit it's a long shot) - then not only did Franz hide his family in the UK (presumably somewhere in Scotland due to the mountains), but Project Carthage has enough authority to act outside of France...maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong - either way, it raises interesting questions

I'm pretty anxious for #80-82. Mostly because of Willie's new dudsies, even if they seem to be a recolor of Ulrich's...just three more weeks...
