Aelita's first concert with the Subdigitals is coming up, but Aelita's stage fright threatens to get the better of her. Odd meanwhile, has to find an extra ticket so he can bring a date. When the concert finally starts, Xana attacks and kidnaps Aelita.

Nice to see the Subdigitals plot continues.

Aelita finds a photo of herself with Franz Hopper at the Hermitage, with a mathematical equation in the background. As Jeremie works to figure out the equation, Sissi gets her hands on the picture and shows it to her father, raising many questions about Aelita's family.

So there's most likely a RTTP coming...

*small feminine heart attack*

All of those sound really insanely pulse-pounding and they need to air soon or I will go insane. 0.o

I think Music Soothes the Savage Beast is going to be fun, and Wrong Exposure is just going to be EVIL >8D

Wouldn't it be awesome if there wasn't an RTTP, but instead a massive 5-episode-spanning arc that sees the kids having to defend themselves from the suspicions of their friends/peers/families while XANA ramps up for the grand finale! (sighs with fangasmic joy and hope) - ah it'll probably never happen ;)

I have to say, the episode summary for Wrong Exposure sounds awesome - not only do once again we have the mysteries of 1994 hovering over our heads, but finally we may find out why none of Kadic's faculty have failed to recognize that Ms. Aelita Stones is the daughter of 'that beardy guy who used to teach physics here' - I mean, how many people have neon-pink hair! Possibly involving the words "Welcome to Torchwood"? In other words, if there are any Project Carthage links, this may be where we find out about them

Whee, Torchwood! Love that show.

Anywho...

I doubt a multiple episode plotline arc is in store for either of these two episodes. The creators like their episdoes wrapped up nice and tight at the end, so as to be in nice, small viewing packages for the attention-wandering public to consume. Though it would be nice to see the past dredged up in a serious way, without the RTTP messing up the consequences...

I would LOVE for that to happen.

And they do not always wrap everything up all neat and tidy. In fact, the love webs here are some of the messiest i've ever seen in any TV show. 0_o

But, yeah.I really, really, really want to see how Jean-Pierre will react to a picture of old Franz Hopper. Will he be angry? Afraid? Or will he not recognize him at all? *squirms in seat*

And in that situation, the only way i see no RTTP is if, say, XANA breaks it or wrenches it out of their control or SOMETHING.

SPOILERS

Well, reliable as ever, cl.fr now has up screencaps for 'music soothes the savage beast' and er...we can now confirm that with her S4 outfit Aelita's going for a slightly goth style, based on what she wears to her debut concert with the Subdigitals.

I honestly doubt any of us could have seen this coming in S1!

Er...Why is her belt-buckle a strawberrry - is that meant to be an ero-thing or something...O_O
XD

As for the ep itself - seems to be filler, nice locations, some stock footage of disco-lights from 'Final Mix', XANA finally gets round to possessing Milly and Tamiya - GOTTA CATCH EM ALL! - and er, also takes over that woman-from-the-Subdigitals-with-the-same-name-as-CL's-script-editor, Sophie - OH GOD, XANA'S TAKEN CONTROL OF THE SCRIPT! XD

It's not quite goth...it's a cute skull! Cute skulls are mainstays of countless teen subcultures, the LEAST of which is goth! :D

I thought her outfit was really cute...and considering it- why in ALL SEVEN AND A HALF HELLS was Jeremie not there, at least in the first revision? The IDIOT. I feel like giving him a sound slap in the face. Jeremie the Rotter returns. At least he came for the second. Way to redeem yourself Jerboy ^_^

And Sissi's uglydress returns! I can't wait to see that scene. See if there's still hope of Oddx*brick'd*

That lady was a little weird. I was kinda hoping Willie-boy himself would come and kidnap her. But no no, Willie-boy has not defeated the Lyoko Warriors, so he does not get any field trips with flashy lights and Aelita in cute outfits. Yes.

At least hoping Clone!Willie would show up...he'd probably be tripping at all the lights :P

I still loved it. But I can't wait for next week's- plot advancement FTW

I wonder If Aelita actually chose those clothes, or an agent did. This should be interesting.

I hope and pray that shirt has a back, and I just wish that it showed a litle less ,uh, neck

It does. :D

And on another note- this is one beautiful stage. It's also very obviously French- if it were an American show, it'd be a big ol chrome-and-steel stadium.

Must make avatars out of these.

One thing I was fangirlishly hoping for was that the rest of the Lyoko Gang would, er...dress in different outfits for the concert. But, that's just a wish, yanno? Bonus points if Ulrich was dressed as an emo. :P

I was slightly surprised at how revealing her outfit was, but can't forget this is rockstar fashion. Won't see anyone in a cute puppy suit making music at a concert.

Watched it but wished I could have understood the words. xP Can't wait to see it in English. Wondering what Nicholas said to earn a Sissi-smack. xD And the way William made his appearance...I couldn't help but think of the tombstone and grave combo. lol

Strange that what on the outside looks like a side-street night-club is actually a converted opera / theater house of some kind - architecturally it reminds me of Charles Garnier's Paris Opera House (another place I visited last summer - magnificent building) except much smaller - it could possibly still be used as a Cinema and Theatre, since there's posters for what look like plays and films all over the walls.

NB - the two signs outside the building says 'Bwiyaya' which is a nonsense word - however the B is so oversized compared to the other letters the signs may instead read as 'B Wiyaya' - as Wiyaya happens to be a Chinese surname - whether this has any relevance or meaning (shrugs) I have no clue

NBB: Just realised that there's a poster for the movie 'The Fast and the Furious' hanging in the Kadic Recroom behind the ping-pong table.

Yeah, I kinda wondered what the 'deal with the devil' Odd made with Sissi there was. I got the sense that he was after a ticket or something from trying to pay others off for one. Kinda need language to make it clear, I expect. It'll be too many weeks before this will come out in English, so I'll just not worry about it unless somebody knows.

No idea, but you've got my interest. 0_0

Lesee, Kadic Bombshell's not out until the 3rd, so assuming they're a) not going to pull this again and b) not going to air Lab Rat somewhere, it'll be on on...December 1st. (Which means we'll get the finale on the 12th or 19th of January. Well, at least they made it last a really long time.)

Weirdly, TL is of the opinion that S4 is the best he's seen so far - the duality of this is that yes, the Lyoko and Kadic scenes are the best ever, and individually so are the episodes. The problem is the lack of a sufficently engrossing story-arc to hold it together.

For me, this is easily the season with the best 'quality standards', but for me the best Season of CL was Season 2, just because it kept dangling the mystery of Franzie Boi' in front of our noses and then blew us out of the water with it's revelations - while I'm hoping S4 will do the same (and Jerome implied some secrets will be revealed), so far the same 'draw' - the same sense of building towards something big, has been absent.

Are you sure? CN skipped over a very critical episode in the story's plot.

As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree with Teebs. Most of my drive to see the rest comes from S2. Easily the best ep of the season was Distant Memory, and it was the most plot-filled.

Still wanna see the rest though...

It's Sissi. What, or should I say who, do you think she'd want in return? :P But I can't say for certain.

I know I at least caught an 'Ulrich' when she was screaming at him later and swiped the ticket back, so you're probably pretty correct. Oh well, with like 6 episodes left I was pretty sure OxSi wouldn't happen anyway.

Also, whats this about season 5, was such a thing ever confirmed?

Uh...they could rush it and do it really badly! :D ...it's a hope...

There was a whole thread about Season 5 somewhere. Unsure if it was ever confirmed...but seeing as one of these episodes is called "Fight to the Finish", I'm not too sure.

I just hope that Season 5, wherever it is, leaves the stories about the Gang's kids to the fanfiction writers.

Well, Fight to the finish could be a Final Round.

I just hope that, if a season 5 is done, they won't pull a Ben 10. (Ken 10? NOOOOO!!)
