I am curios to see if season three takes place during summer.

Some fans think it will be starting this spring. Then season 4 will be either this fall or winter.Anyway, I'm kind of hoping to see more than Roachsters and Crabs materialized!

Some of my theories are extremely strange and weird, but I'm thinking that XANA's plan is either:
A: Destroy the world with brute force. (almost 90% sure of that one!)
or B: Suck sll of the Earth except the factory into Lyoko and then destroy the Super Computer.

Kinda wonderin if this is on topic or not but i've read that season 3 will only be 15 episodes and will mainly function as means to give a bit backround knowledge on the series. It should also clear up things from season 2, and set everyone up for season 4. I too think that it'll premiere in the spring as well. I also hope thats when they will preimere the log-awaited prequels.

why would ANYONE on this forum answer "no" to this question? if they are true Lyoko Freaks as the site so aptly names us then wouldnt logic say that they are glad to have a season 3 come out?

Maybe some people think that the series should end where it's at. Sometimes continuing the series isn't the best idea if you end the season a certain way.

Oh, and Wikipedia says that S3 will air...this fall. But since Wikipedia is random-person edited, that may just well be wrong.

Could be. However, it really wouldn't surprise me if it was right. IIRC, the toys, games, and whatnot all seem to be coming out in the fall. I don't think that's a coincidence: It looks like someone's getting their ducks in a row for a big marketing push. The series will probably be the vanguard, coming about 2 weeks ahead of the various toys and featuring ads for them.

But that's just a theory.

It might not have revealed everything, I was probably over-exaggruating. But, I'm looking it up now. I don't really see how these "spoilers" are really spoilers. I didn't see anything that would really spoil much, but <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code:_Lyoko>here's a link</a>.

It doesn't have any oversized episode descriptions, but it reveals most of the annoying cliffhangers of the Season 3+4.

EDIT: As I mentioned, I didn't see how the "spoilers" here "spoil" anything. So, here's a big enough hint for those of you eager to see the spoiler... click on the link.

i didn't really see spoilers either. i do have somewhat a better understanding of CL though. I'm unsure how the key epiosode releazed xana from the supercomputer. this may be cause i started watching it mid first season.

Not really. Season one doesn't have any real bearing on season two, the only exceptions being the last two episodes of season one, where Aelita's first materialized.

As to how XANA got free.... Well, he got the "Keys to Lyoko". Presumably it's some sort of password he couldn't crack, or perhaps the way around a hard-coded limit in his programming. (In William Gibson's seminal cyberpunk novel Neuromancer, the AI Wintermute was similarly looking for a something that would free him of certain built-in limitations.) Perhaps more detail will be provided in season three. At the very least, we'll find out what form XANA exists in (energy being, distributed program living on the Internet, whatever) and perhaps that'll make it a bit more obvious exactly what the keys were.

Anyway, at the CodeLyoko.com forum, I saw an interview about S3+S4.

Thank you with Mrs S to have agreed to meet our team of modo to answer some questions. Here the report of this meeting:

- On a request for Tchoucky, our guest of honor delivered her opinion on our site, which it finds organized, and full very detailed, well with comment pertinant on the series, it ensured us of his fidelity ^^

- Mrs S confirmed the preparation of season 3. Sorry for reviving this but this thought smacked me in the face not too long ago...

First of all, people have been saying stuff about "flashbacks" in the third season to how they found the supercompy (if there's no prequel). Then that makes me ask, well, why would they have flashbacks like randomly? Just like reminiscing or...? I didn't really think that'd be a cause, CL doesn't have totally random, or frequent for that matter, flashbacks so yeah...

Second of all, people have been speculating about a new member of the team, possibly Sissi. Now if we put these two together... then we get something like some sort of situation in which Sissi has to be told the truth (like in Ultimatum) so they tell her the story and stuff... via flashbacks! Yay!

And I used NO emoticons in this post! Party time!

Right, small update. CodeLyoko.net has a countdown on it's site to S3s French release - by adding on the days it seems it will start on the week of September 5th, 2006.
