...Okay... um, well, since discussion on this thread has been mostly handled maturely, I'm going to allow it. In the future, though, Rodri, please be sure you think threads like this through more carefully before posting. Some people have problems with this sort of thing and it's best to avoid drama out in the open.

In any case, it's definitely not Matt. If anything, the voice he does for Odd gives him most of his sex appeal, IMO.

Although I've never thought Odd was supposed to be gay, I can see how some people might think his clothes were supposed to be a bit of a hint. On the other hand, I think this fact may have driven the writers to make extra-sure Odd has plenty of girlfriends over the show.

So, really, other than being a childish rumor started by some purple-hater, I think Odd being gay is pretty much ruled out. xD;

(And, yes, fanfic is definitely another story, but we won't go into that here...)

But isn't a metrosexual an "urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. He is the fashion-conscious target audience of men's magazines". Other than that last sentence, I'd say Odd would almost fit that description. ^^;

Ya know this is a very intresting topic that i've never seen brought up before. I personaly think that he is just a really peppy, vibrant, artistic person. Although I can see how some may link that w/ being gay in the homosexual sense, I see him as being gay in the happy, peppy way. He is just always on his own little natural high.

Definitely the purple clothes. Also, someone else did Odd's voice instead of Matt in a couple episodes of season 1, right? If so, I blame that guy. Odd's voice was so high when voiced by him! And then there's the French version, which actually sounds like a girl.

And yes, I'm one of the many who thought Odd was a girl for a large chunk of the first episode, partially because it was one of the ones not voiced by Matt, so even Odd's voice was girlish.

Heard a bit from the french translation. He does sounds like a girl. But in the english version, he sounds like a guy with a certain tendency to change to gay, which is kinda... meh.
And probably those threads about Odd being gay could have been deleted, since it pretty much doesn't goes with the rules at cl.om or at tv.com as well. There's a sample of the Odd is gay thread at Trash Talkin' TV.com at BKO, though. Just the funny parts, though.
