Something I made a few minutes ago, since people kept on saying that Ulrich is Emo.

And as for that, I can't really see her changing her style anytime soon. Not drastically anyway.

I think black kind of matches up with Yumi's personality. Black is pretty neutral, goes with about anything, and doesn't really stick out in a crowd. Since Yumi is arguably the most flexible of the group, can get along with most people and (in my opinion) doesn't seem to feel the need to draw attention to herself (like, say, Sissy) black is a pretty well-suited color for her.

I actually think it's none of the above. I mean, I have black shirts and black jeans, and I wear them on occasion, but I'm not a great fan of the color, nor goth/emo lifestyle.

From what I see, Yumi was created in the early CL development to be a punk/emo type character, but dropped it later in the first season. Now she just seems to be a regular person who wears black because she was originally designed to, but dropped from the personality and left the clothing style as is to show what's left of the character that once was.

As in my point of veiw If you think about it could be Something that may stop her in a way

1. culture they may be a rule that black brings bad luck to the family

2.Beening a tomboy.People can't say that you act mostly like a boy/girl

3.She many not have alot of money or it the only colour that suits her.Plus it Black always in fashion

4. personal reasons

They could be many ways that she must wear bad all the time.but I don't know.Hopefully the markers will tell us someday in the ep or ssomething

And as for Yumi wearing lots of black, I think it's just an influence of her growing up in Japan, I think. *shrugs* I'm guessing she moved to France like three or two years prior to the events that are happening now but :O I dunno. Oh and her boots, which are frikin awesome. ...Yeah. Japanese people have a whacky fashion sense. Like the outfit she wore in Teddygozilla... knee socks, short skirts, and those arm thingies are common...
