I don't know why, but....Yumi.

She seems like too...well...'flat' of a character. And by flat I mean, she doesn't really seem to have a definite personality (Jeremie=computer geek, Odd=comic relief, Ulrich=grumpy, Aelita=innocent mystery girl, Yumi=?).

She's cool, but...it's hard to truly define her.

That's actually what I like about Yumi. She doesn't fit into any sort of clique...because that's her personality. She's not out to fit in. She prefers to be herself.

If anything, I'd say she's the most 3 Dimensional of the characters as opposed to being the most flat. We know the most about her homelife, her experiences, and her heritage (as opposed to the other members who we really don't know anything about in terms of family and ancestry). She's actually far more developed than any of the other members of Team Lyoko in terms of character, I think.

As for me, I also really don't hate any character in particular, although I will admit to not being a huge fan of William. ^^ Oh, now I remember: TV! Him, I do not like at all.

very good point Mewberries. In a way that makes yumi exciting because we see the most of her experinces outside of lyoko. I would personally love to see a little more behind jeremie than is already shown. I imagine all of this stuff is in the literary bible

I think all the characters are interesting, and I like them all. But, If I had to choose, I would have to pick William. He is the biggest jerk that I have had the misfortune to watch. Plus he thinks he can get Yumi by flimsy compliments and his self-proclaimed 'coolness'. Ugh, he makes me sick.

This is true!! And he voices William!!! ROFL! Didn't he also voice Theo? *sweatdrop* Wow...good thing he didn't voice Taelia (which would have been hilarious to hear) or he'd be 6 for 7 in characters that people really can't seem to stand.

That is indeed a testament to his prowess as a VA though...it's rather hard to play characters like that.

Not sure about Theo, but he does Jim's voice too. I guess he's the Lee Van Cleef of voice actors! Then again, the only character in Code Lyoko that's as bad as The Bad is XANA... but didn't Mr. Gasman do XANA's voice in "Ghost Channel"? ^^;

Now before you flame me (which doesn't really have any effect on me but its the thread I care about) let me say what I have to say.

Ulrich just needs to get over his bad moods a lot faster then trying to bring everyone in his bad mood. I mean seriously, he was all like "Get away from me, Yumi, or else I'll kill you." in Marabounta for something he stupidly did on his own. And his bad moods remind me of someone in my religion class who I particularly don't like.

I, personally, don't hate William all that much. I stick up for him because I think he has flaws like everyone else.

And OddxSissi is my favorite pairing so I really don't hate Sissi.

I don't hate her much now, but I was like "ARRGGHHH' to Aelita in season 1. >>; Don't shoot please? xD; I dunno, she just always seemed so helpless and personalityless.... kinda. I dunno she's better now, though! Like her outfit is pretty awesome.

You must have liked "The Trap" then, in which:

1. Aelita destroyed a Krab on her own, and
2. With *all* her defenders either killed off or otherwise unavailable, Aelita evaded the last Krab and got into the tower on her own.

Actually, no, I'm not a big fan of "The Trap" ^^; I dunno, the last time I saw it was a bit ago and I do remember not raving over it xD;; I think it's cause Ulrich was helpless but meh...

Ah, but I LOVED "A Bad Turn", 'cause Aelita was soooo frikin' awesome fighting all by herself... it shows she has some mad skillz but only seems to use them in desperate measures ^^; She should use them more often!

In defense of Ulrich...Jim gave him mouth to mouth resusitation that he didn't need....wouldn't you be in a bad mood? X)

Also in defense of Ulrich...falling off of the diving board wasn't exactly his fault. Those things are slippery, and you can fall off of them if you're not watching yourself...which he wasn't because he was watching Yumi. Also, landing in a belly flop like that will knock the air out of you from that height.

The only thing Ulrich is really faultable for in that scene...was that he shouldn't have been spying in the first place. But again...I can't exactly blame him. He's only 13 and still prone to jealous tendencies. ^^

Plus...he wasn't like "Get away from me or die"...especially not to Yumi. I think she'd be more likely to "kill him" should he happen to be that nasty to her. He was more just asking for some time alone...unfortunately, he wanted to be left alone at a really bad time for everyone else. *sweatdrop*

I'm just arguing as an Ulrich fan (and general character fan) that Ulrich had certain viable reasons for acting the way he did. The biggest one being the fact that Jim gave him mouth-to-mouth. ^^ I do believe that kind of thing could keep any other person awake for weeks. No offense to Jim, of course, but really... ^^;
