New Animation Technique?

Who can't live with it? I figured the animation was just me when I saw it.

I know .....but It just bothers me when it is poorly done. As in the legs don't even touch the ground..

I don't think I've ever seen that happen in Code Lyoko though...I'd imagine their editors would catch something like that. O.o

Just like they didn't catch Odd's facial markings missing in Marabounta?
Kidding.
But like where William is following Ulrich, and then the camera follows his feet, it does give the illusion that he's not even touching the ground... Same goes for Yumi exiting the elevator in Tidal Wave, and kicking the can on the floor. That part just made me feel odd.

Hmmm...I'd have to re-watch those scenes to see what you mean. The "Tidal Wave" one in particular might have been weird looking because Yumi (within the story and animation) is walking normally and is disrupted by suddenly feeling her feet kick something. (Which, in real life, would look awkward as well).

Odd's facial markings missing in Marabounta is both a mistake on the animator's part, and the editor's...as it's the editor's job to catch things like that. X) It's kind of tough to though...with all of the other stuff they have to watch for. ^^;
