The writers of the show probably made Odd and Aelita cousins becasue they want to prevent it or something. But who knows. It would make an interesting episode if they dated and someone found out...

It's true; But Odd is very quick on his feet. If someone spotted the two together, doing something romantic and questioned it, he could just as easily think of something... Like, "We were only cousins by marriage, duh. Their not married anymore, so... Yea."-Odd.

I think that if the writters ever did hook Odd and Aelita up, it would be a one episode experiment, sadly. I just cant help loving this couple, but I think the writters have just dwelved up on AJ too much to really have a different couple split them up.
But there's little clues in certain episodes that make me think that the writters really are planning something special between the two.. Who knows, I guess.

It's true, that's the most likely time for Aelita to actual start seeing Odd for more then he is, but that idea is just waaay overused in OA fanfiction. I think that I like the idea where Odd's the shoulder Aelita cry's on, and she just see's him as more then a friend better. But ya'know... If they ever did get together on the show, I think it would happen after a fight with Her and Jeremie.

However, that is a double-edged sword, as she could just as easily form that bond between her and Ulrich or her and Yumi or any new person that may come to join the Lyoko warriors.

Odd was really competitive with Jeremie during S3... *Shrugs* Plus, Odd has been acting wierd. But I agree, Odd would never screw Jeremie over like that. Not unless Jeremie did something really bad.

I'll agree with you on Odd and Aelita... but can you really say Jeremie and Aelita are boyfriends? They only locked lips once, they don't share much relationship moments (you get these lousy blushing moments) and Jeremie seems beyond worried (he should be worried about Lyoko, that is true... but he should have also dedicated more time to Aelita as this "boyfriend" you're claiming that Aelita has) about Lyoko rather than sharing quality time with Aelita to take their relationship to a next level.

I don't really consider Jeremie and Aeilta as an official couple unless there's more lip locking involved and them sharing more time together rather than just having their time concerned about Lyoko and Xana. See that there's not much of the romance element on Season 3. Expect similar for Season 4.

The only reason she even kissed him in, 'Xana's kiss' was because she was checking to see if it was the real Jeremie. I mean, she was nieve like that, right?
And it's true, if it wasn't for Lyoko, the two would spend next to nothing time together. Since that really is all they talk about when their together. If it wasn't for lyoko, Aelita would be DJing, with Odd.

Odd has addressed Jeremie and Aelita as a couple under several different occassions. I admit that freely. But I think he feels that he really has no chance, so he chooses to ignore his own feelings, but in return, help Aelita with hers.
And yes, I think part of the reason why Odd wont make his move on Aelita is for fear. Though, it would make a very amusing episode. xD

Exactly. Also, the fight against XANA takes up far too much of Jeremie's time for him to be able to have a romantic relationship.

I agree. With the exception of "Aelita" I don't recall there ever being a conversation between only Odd and Aelita. Usually the others were there as well.

Aelita and Odd...they really don't match, I think Aelita would run circles around Odd in class.

Aelita and Yumi, Yumi's more of the mature type that just looks over her.

I'm almost sure it was on "The Girl of the Dreams" when she said that. Even though many things have changed since Season 1, I think the relationships among the characters is one of the few things that has stayed the same (I mean, the feelings they have for each other). And that happened like a little more than a year ago, in the CL universe, so it isn't really that long.

Odd and Aelita talk all the time. Whenever Aelita's on the back of his hoverboard, they always share little conversations. Challenge me, and I shall track every single one of them down and quote them. Mwhahaha. ^__^;;

Little is the key word ^^. But anyway, they are friends after all, so it's not strange that they talk. Odd is a really talkative guy so that really helps.

Aelita first get's on with Odd, then Jumps over to Ulrich... And for NO reason-- She jumps back on with Odd. I thought it was cool, so I captured the best screenshot possible for this little scene:

I know he told her too, but I thought it was really funny for some reason. I mean, there was NO reason for her to jump over by Odd! And he dosn't like to ride, alone, because if he did he wouldn't pick people up so much. ^^;

Isn't it the fastest vehicle? It's the easiest way to get around because it's small and light.
