Another very common appearing extra is Julien Xao. He can be seen most prominently in XANA attack scenes in the first season. He's usually the one running for his life. ^^; He's also the kid on which the camera is focused on when time freezes during "Plagued"; the one the rat is just about to attack,
Other important extras are Sandra Dialo and Clair Girard who can easily be picked out in the background and are also two of the girls that Odd considers as possible secret admirers for Ulrich in the episode "Swarming Attack".
I wouldn't knock the extras. The scene would look and sound empty without them. Also, it's extra work for the character designers and animators to create and draw them into the scenes. They could easily choose not to, but it would just would not be realistic. And one of the best things about Code Lyoko is its realism. Give the animators and character designers some credit. They're stressing themselves with these characters for our sake. The least we can do is appreciate it.
