All I did in my recent post was hoping that the first CL episode for S4 ended like that. Wouldn't it be great?

En effet, Cartoon Network débutera la diffusion du premier jet de 15 épisodes en mars 2007, c'est-à-dire dans un mois.
Mais à contrario, ce dessin animé Français ne sera diffusé sur sa terre natale qu’en septembre, c'est-à-dire 6 mois après les USA ! Cette situation, à ma vision, est réellement une honte…

I heard of that days ago. It blows and it's a load of . Do you think the average CL fan is going to give a crap if France gets it by September? I doubt it.

Besides, I heard that this thing with France getting it delayed is due to some channels airing CL that entered in disagreement or something like that. I dunno. Mewberries told me about it... let me find that thing.

Actually, the reason France is not getting it before us this time is due to a disagreement about which channel it should air on, which has stalled the series launch. France has 2 channels that air Code Lyoko, and apparently there was some arguement about which one should get the new season first...and since neither side wanted to give in...the whole series was delayed in airing there.

This time it's not our fault ironically. ^^;

At any rate, it'd be silly not to watch it when it airs here. It's wrong and it's not very fair to the French, but if we watch it we can post videos of it and summaries and screenshots for the French fans (as they did for us with seasons past), and help them out.

After all we're all fans. We should help each other out as much as we can.

Something like that... if she got more info about that... well, let her explain it more.

I'm am 99.9% sure that that information I gave you is accurate and correct. It was found at LyokoCode (not LyokoNet) and since they have direct ties and contacts to MoonScoop itself, I would believe they'd know best. As soon as LyokoCode starts working again, I'll go link up the news blurp that had that information.

France getting it after us this time around, is not the fault of Cartoon Network, nor anything remotely American-related. This is an "inside" issue.

So really, there's no reason to get "steamed/cheesed/insulted" etc., since it's out of our hands.

It is a shame, however, though, I will admit, and I think the best that we could do to help is to try and share the English episodes with the French fans as they did for us with seasons 3 and 2, in some way or another. After all, if we're all fans, shouldn't we try to help our fellow CL lovers?

Anyway, just to update on that whole "France getting season 4 later".

I made a slight error in translation, although the fact remains the same that this wasn't caused (at least in any public way) by CN or something like that.

Season 4 is coming later in France not because of a disagreement betweeen Canal J and France 3 (at least not a public one ^^; ), but because both have simply chosen not to sign for season 4 yet.

They will however be getting all 30 episodes all at the same time (instant gratification), whereas the US will get it in 15 episode halves; one in March and one in September, I believe.

So again, this is merely the fault of the programming channels in France.

At any rate, I'm happy to see that a lot of you guys would like to help. We can all try and work together on this if you like. My French is remedial but I would be happy to do translations for subtitles. ^^

Now about that Black Manta in the 1st episode of Season 4, surely this Black Manta should have new powers and look different than it simply being black. Question is, what will its power be and what it would look like. Will it have huge sharp fangs, creepy looking eyes, the top of the Black Manta being black and *GREEN* underneath, and also maybe perhaps it might have electrical powers (purple electricity) which would poison its opponents?

Okay, two things:

First off, yes, black mantas will undoubtedly be cool. No doubt the dudes at Moonscoop have stuff planned for them. I won't rule out close-range combat as being part of their special weapons (I have noticed that XANA's only close-range monster that doesn't rely on lasers to kill stuff is the Scyphizoa, but that technically doesn't count, you know?), but enhanced lasers, armor plating on the eye of XANA, rapid-fire mode, or other special abilities would be good.

Second off: From screenshots and stuff, I always thought that the "Black Manta" was the name of the ship in the preview we saw.

Third off: The appearence of a "Black Manta" raises an intriguing point. Are there "Black" versions of other monsters? Would they serve as elite troopers?
