Umm, she thought Ulrich liked her the whole time, and re the 'rat' comment - she wanted to SAVE them, which actually makes me like Ulrich a lot less for branding her as a traitor - he'd go on to do a similar thing in 'The Chips are Down'

Ulrich made it rather plain that he wasn't "into" her though...she could have taken a slight hint....ah, but love is blind. ^^;

Hmm, in regards to the whole idea of "Benedict Sissi" though, and in mild defense of Ulrich... there's actually more of a "Girl of the Dreams" complex to be found in this somewhere, more than there is a "Chips are Down" sort of thing...and even so, Sissi's case differs from both of those instances in other ways entirely.

Ulrich only activated an RTTP (which made XANA a tad more powerful...an a little trickier). Irresponsible...made XANA more annoying...and was rather a tad back-handed, but he didn't spill the secret of Lyoko or anything (although it is debateable as to whether or not his winning the lottery would have done anything...it actually wouldn't in my opinion...his ticket would be voided as "underaged"). Also...the group's reaction doesn't differ...Ulrich was ousted to, albeit temporarily. So the judgement still stands as being "continuous".

Sissi's case is different from his though. True, she came back to the Factory because she was concerned about Ulrich, Odd and Jeremie. However, she did "spill the beans" about Lyoko to not only her father, but to Jim and Nurse Dorothy as well. Now, one can argue that because she'd been electrocuted, she wasn't thinking straight, and that's why she so eagerly told them everything and continued to insist on its truth after everyone told her she'd been dreaming. Whether or not, one wants to take that view, is at the discretion of the viewer.

However, Sissi made no attempt to subtley leave Kadic to save her friends...although, to her credit, doing so with Jim and her father watching would have been some feat of stealth.

So, perhaps her going to the Factory and bringing her father and the others with her was unavoidable...but I still think she could have handled that better.

Where she crosses the line though, in my opinion, is where she says that "The Super Computer should be shut off."

She knew full well about Maya...er...I mean Aelita's existence and her dependence on the super computer's power. She also knew of Jeremie's attachment to her (Ulrich and Odd mentioned it around her at any rate). Regardless of whether or not it's dangerous...a life is still a life, and Sissi agreed with Jim about shutting the computer down a bit too unremorsefully for my taste.

Maybe she was cheezed about Ulrich and Yumi, and that's why she was cold about Aelita's well-being...but that's definitely what separates her case from both Taelia's and Ulrich's. Taelia didn't know shutting off the computer would kill anyone...Sissi did.
