Oh yeah - I watched that yesterday and no disrespect to Barbara Scaff (who is a great person), but that was far from Ulrich's finest moment.

*sweatdrops* SVD, along with GOTD, is one of the few episodes that makes me cringe during particular scenes...whoever mentioned that poem that Ulrich recites...I agree sadly. ^^ I know he meant well, but honestly poetry is just not his thing. It was a sweet sentiment though.

Just out of curiousity...do Garage Kids moments count? X)

I mentioned the poem because it was the corniest thing at the moment I saw. Man, if I was Barbara, I'd voice SVD for free without mentioning that corny poem.

Yeah, GK moments count, MewB. Let me think... oh, Odd's introduction. Wasn't Odd at all. And Jeremie getting scared of Kiwi... that was corny, too.

I'd have to say the scene in Marabunta where Ulrich did his "infamous dive" came across as rather corney.

Some very corny things in Code Lyoko:
1) The way that some of the characters shout, especially Aeilita and Yumi ( No offence to the voice actors ) its always a dragging on " Ahhhhhhhhhhhh " Which can get a little annoying
2)" IMPACT! " Need I say more?

Seriously, whats the point in number 2? I mean, kill the darn monster! It doesn't sound cool, or badass, so theres no point.

I generally like "corny" things. I have a very corny sense of humor, so something corny is more apt to make me laugh than cringe.

There are only two moments in CL that I really don't like to watch...the first is Jim working out in "Rock Bottom" to a spoof tune of "Eye of the Tiger". I like that song...and while Jim's okay with me, I just didn't think that whole scene was...necessary?

Um, moving on, the only other moment has already been mentioned, which is Herb day-dreaming about he and Sissi kissing in "Claustrophobia". It's just another one of those things that I really don't want to know about...plus it's the exact opposite of Yumi and Ulrich's moment in "LogBook" but done in the same style...which is rather irritating really. With Y/U, it looked pretty...with H/S it was...creepy? ^^;

Gah...I sound so fickle. *sweatdrop* Shame...shame.

I really didn't like the ending to, 'A Bad Turn.' It was a really good episode and everything, But why would Ulrich join William to his Go Cart club? (Was it a Go Cart club, or Gold Cart?)

Hmmm...I guess Ulrich agreed to join William at the Go-Cart Club as a kind of "temporary truce" or some kind of "extension of the olive branch". Plus, it may have been to prove to Yumi that he could accept William as a friend, if only for her sake. I'm not 100% sure though. Maybe it was just good sportsmanship. ^^;
