The Game Factory today announced the signing of a worldwide licensing deal with MoonScoop, producer and distributor of animated series for television, to develop and publish CODE LYOKO for Nintendo DS. The game will be featuring elements from both the RPG and adventure genre and is scheduled for release by fall of 2006

If they were to ever make a CL fighting game, I could imagine it resembling MK Deception.
Then again I supose I'm just a sick and twisted inividual. Any thoughts?

Personally, I'm hoping for a GBA game, because I do NOT have a DS, and probably never will, since my only money source right now is my parents.

But, if we do get a PS game, here's how I would do it.

Knowing its small audience, it wouldn't be too costly or outlandish. But, it would be satisfying, challenging, and free of translation mistakes. (like, no sections in French.) It would be like a sort of 'endless RPG', like Pokemon. There are main goals, but once you get past them, there's plenty more to do.

You can switch off between characters, depending on which situation they are needed. You control what they do, with every action having its consequence.

You can interact with other characters, including those you do not currently control. You have to build up trust with them, and make sure you don't reveal the secret of Lyoko.

From time to time, XANA battles pop up. You have to fight them back down, and set RTTP, with the power increase consequence.

You get to control the relationships! Isn't that lovely?

There would be little 'easter eggs' for the next season. Like, for example, a character from Season 3, standing by the wayside, that says nothing when you talk to them, except a cryptic message after some prodding.

For example, if there were to be a human XANA in the next season:

(Jer walks around, and for some reason the player talks to someone with blond hair he has never seen before.)
???: ...
Jeremie: Yes?
???: ...
Jeremie: Can you hear me?
???: ...
???: Remember, Jeremie, this Eve of September...
Jeremie: Okay...bye.

...

And...now I need to go to bed. So that's all for now.

I would like a game for the PS2 with an option to make your own character or play as one of the Lyoko Gang.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a Code Lyoko game based on the Sims 2 engine, with certain bits cut out and the various parts of Lyoko as "Community Area's" (the ones where you can't save the game)

I really like that idea since I only have a GBA myself. Such a game sounds like a lot of fun.
