What would probably happen in a Season 5?

Since the Replikas are gone and XANA is deleted, the main villain is done and over with. The only way to continue into a fifth season is with a new villain.

Seeing as the whole incident with Aelita's mother being abducted by the men in black is still an unresolved issue, they are still tracking down Franz Hopper and his daughter.

Twenty years have passed since they started the search (1994 to 2014). Aelita and Jeremy share an apartment as they both hold jobs in society.

Because the Lyoko War was a secret, they don't know that Franz is dead. However they discover Aelita's whereabouts through her last medical checkup, using their various connections with the government, the men-in-black seize medical records in an attempt to find her. They make the connection using an old DNA sample of Franz and comparing it to the blood extracted for testing purposes.

They succeed and abduct her from their apartment. Her interrogation fails as she holds everything from them. Their backup plan was already in motion by leaving a note for Jeremy to hand over Franz in exchange for his fiancee. Realizing this point is moot for Franz is dead, he thinks over his options.

Returning to the factory for the first time in ten years, he believes Aelita's salvation is connected with Lyoko. Knowing the men-in-black must have bases throughout the continent, if not the country, he develops a new scanning program and finds the various networks used by their organization. Using a combination of this new scanner and the teleportation programs, he can send people from Lyoko straight to a location near the server of a specified network. This is done the same way as the old teleportation without the need to being connected directly to another supercomputer.

Calling on his old friends, he hopes to send them to the bases of the men-in-black in order to rescue Aelita. However by being connected to an enemy network, he improves the firewalls of the supercomputer to protect their location, but they can still get through. Balancing out the search for Aelita while keeping the lab's location a secret from the men-in-black will make the fifth season as interesting as the ones preceding it.
