In what sense do you mean 'Brain Damage' i.e. during a virtualisation or a devirtualisation, and physical damage to the brain or to the 'conciousness'?

Any kind of brain damage, in particular, physical brain damage.

As for the STM - I'm thinking of writing that chapter as just coverage of the hardware - it's not likely to be long though as it's mostly hypothetical. The RTTP chapter covering what's going on during that proceedure would be in 'Processes' and would probably be a lot longer.
However if you have an idea of how it could be done better I'm open to it - and I can't wait to wrangle out the pixelisation section and processes in general with you.
Have you noticed that each of us three seem to have an area of expertise?
ME: Hardware
YDV: Software
YOU: Processes
And to Taelia - I don't think they have to close their eyes - it just seems instinctive - after all they are in a very bright space with a wind blowing in their face.

This text is a record and a monument, a monument to an unsung legacy. Perhaps in time the secrets hid within it's pages can be revealed to the world, in which case one man's genius, and the strength and courage of a select few, might finally be appreciated, that of my friends and family, and even ones who no longer recall their own acts of heroism.
And should we fail, this text is a guideline by which others might take up the fight.
To those who are reading this, the data you are about to view may seem like the stuff of science fiction, or it might reveal the truths beneath the world in which you live. I certainly hope it is the first. If not, then perhaps this can lead you to the answers you seek, and the tools required to usurp XANA, the tyrant we have fought for over a year.
This then, is the legacy of Franz Hopper, and his one and only creation - the phenomenal virtual world of Lyoko.
