If I made a new series, it would be about the lyoko gang's kiddies. they'd be SO cute!!!!!!

I will add though, that I think any kind of "visible" death, plus much of what Skiiran Lord listed would raise the rating of CL far too much to be able to still keep it's target audience. ^^ Plus it would tear the focus away from the actual characters of the show (focusing too much on adventure and plot) and the characters are at least half the reason many people like this show, I think.

It'll just raise it to standard PG, or PG-13 in the worse of the cases. It would make more sense to me if CL was PG-13 at least, I could even talk about it with RL friends, maybe... although, I can see his first three points as something the producers would most likely milk out.

Well, it wouldn't have to be a straight OUT showing of death, just enough for them to know the person did die. I see your point though, manslaughter and 8-year-olds don't mix.

In my eyes, William is just a superfluos (spelling?) character that was added as an after thought, and a bad after thought at that. For example, when he was first invented, the conversation might've gone something a bit like this:

Person: Hey, Ulrich really needs some competition for Yumi...
Director:....Eh, okay, take every single one of these 4.5 million animation cells back to draw in some guy.
Person: RIGHT then!

So, yes, he needs to go.

*snickers* Animators always plan ahead. Since they have to record the episode, plus dub it over and over....they know what they want before they think it's bad. Ya never know, he might be a surprise in S3.

Guys, sorry to burst your bubble but from an interview that the show's cheif writer gave 'codelyoko.net' last October. it looks like William will be taking a larger role in S3.

Note, the following was translated with Altavista Babelfish, so I'm sorry if at some point it becomes completely inane.

- Mrs S confirmed the preparation of season 3. Actually, it acts of a short season 3 (15 episodes), that the scenario writers are writing, being used as transition between season 2 and one VERY long, season 4 (40 episodes!!!!) or the changes of characters and decorations will multiply, and which promises to surprise us. William should reconsider the front of the scene, holds, holds... One can amongst other things expect new intrigues in love, but chut! I does not say any more!

Meh he's an annoying character and really adds nothing to the storyline aside from dragging out the Ulrich/Yumi love story. God I'm so sick of that. Either have them get together or break up. There comes a time when enough is enough.

The show needs more OddxAelitaxJeremy. Thats something fresh that hasn't been beaten to death a million times over.

I share your sentiment pepsipiper. I cannot really say that in some ways it is not appropriate for this will they/won't they to drag on though. They are both teenagers, and although yumi is more mature than ulrich is ( which typically females do mature faster mentally than males and yumi already has that one year on him) there is that insecruity.

don't get me wrong I like yumi and ulrich, but I would love to see some other romance and relationships with the other main cast/ minor cast and maybe get a little more of that backstory.

And reading a few threads here, the more William has been noticed, the more disrespect he gets from CL fans (not everybody).

Rumors started about a possible WxS affair after Marabounta, but that concept didn't lasted too long. In the end, William wants Yumi and Sissi wants Ulrich. Sure one could think they could end having a rebound relationship by the end of the series just not to let them fade as single...
