It's funny how I was actually. I was babysitting a 6 year old and a 3 year old. And Miguzi came on and the song to CL started playing and the girls that I was babbysitting got all excited and said I LOVE THIS SHOW!! And they made me watch it with them. Then I started to like it and watched it everyday for fun. But I really started watching it everyday because of the beginning song.

I saw Yumi fighting what looked like a samurai and thought, "Ooo! Samurai-ness!". The interspersed scenes of Odd, Ulrich, and Aelita in the 3D world of Lyoko intrigued me further, and when the RTTP occured I couldn't help but think, "Woah...what was that?". My curiousity piqued, I tried to catch it again and on the following Wednesday caught "Just In Time" in its entirety and became subsequently hooked. The rest, to be cliche, is history.

I, OTOH, used to watch Teen Titans regularly when Miguzi first came on...Mewberries151 wrote: Code Lyoko I knew virtually nothing about, but I figured from the misleading commercials that it was about kids who are spys and recieve missions (that scene from "End of Take" was shown with Sissi receiving her lines on a piece of paper), and then travel to other worlds where they take on different forms and super powers.
...and I was thankful that Teen Titans came on last so that I could see that instead of what appeared to be a Mission Impossible wannabe cartoon... ^^;

One of my reactions to the 3-D parts was "Oh, great. Another cartoon based on a video game. Just what the world needs..." ^^;

I was on vacation at home in April and I was bored, so I decided to check it out. I found it quite interesting, but I had wished I had seen it from the first episode because I was sure there was something I had missed from not seeing it from the beginning. The episode was (you guessed it...) the first repeat of "Teddygozilla"...
Mewberries151 wrote: ^^ I had a similar trouble. Since I came in at "Girl of the Dreams" and "Just In Time", I thought for sure I'd missed the first episode that explained everything. That's actually how I found out about TVT...I went looking for a synopsis of the first episode so that I could find out exactly who XANA was and how they'd found him. TVT had a synopsis of "TeddyGozilla" so I went and checked it out there. ^.^
We're all still waiting for that explanation though, almost two years later.
