just my conclusions on code lyoko

Postby Blueblazer » Fri Nov 25, 2005 4:18 am

This is my random thoughts and conclusions On Code Lyoko the first thing is
Aelita although she lived in Lyoko a really long time, im not sure that where she started she seems to know a lot about being human and I know she had a lot of help but then there’s the little movement things she says and the way she says things, the visions she has and Taelia incident I have come to these conclusions.
One is that may be Aelita was a really girl the daughter of Dr. Heinrich and Taelia her twin sister. Now when twins are born there is a weak one and a strong on that is to say one is bigger then the other and some times that can be a big size different and one my not survive long. Maybe Aelita was the weak on and had a lot of health problems that thou she reached the age of 12 she began to Die for some reason so to stop that she was vitalized or her memories where put on to lyoko Aelita but something went wrong like government interference or some corporation with not so good work ethic killed the doctor messed with X.A.N.A causing Alitas memory loss and did something to taelia like to make here forget her past as well or something. And that when Taelia went to the orphanage and the beginning of Aelitas stay on lyoko with no memories and a messed up system that was fixing its data time is easily miss counted. Or aelita is model after Taelia and has some artificial memories as some form of experiment and it did not workout and just because she’s the mabel dose not mean she knows about it.

Well that all for know Tell me what you think and again this arm my Opinions and im a flexible person so have at them.

First, I'd like to say welcome to LF. Now go introduce yourself in the newbie forums, so everyone else can hava a chance to properly welcome you. I hope you will enjoy yourself here.

As for your theory, this has been discussed a bit in the topic "lets talk tech". Who is this Dr. Heinrich you are talking about? Unless you mean Franz Hopper. In "lets talk tech", I've stated these as possible and plausible theories concerning Aelita's origins.

animenologist wrote:Also I would like to say this about Aelita's origins. I have a feeling that "The Key" will reveal for sure, what Aelita's true origins are. But for now, we can only guess. It could any multiple ideas and a lot of them are plausible.

1. Aelita could be a former human, who when virtualized, but due to problems with the scanners, either Xana induced or from faulty equipment had her vDna corrupted and was unable to be devirtualized and also gave her a case of amnesia.

2. The original Aelita could have been dying and was virtualized as a way to save her. Though because of her injuries or illness, her vDna was corrupted and again amnesia and unable to be deirtualized.

3. The original Aelita died, and the Aelita program was a virtual replication of the original, encrypted with the formers memories and made to think and to feel as the actual Aelita would. I believe this is the theory put forth at http://www.lyokocode.new.fr/.

4. She could be an original designed and programmed AI, but was encrypted with the memories of another, for some reason, such as safe keeping or in memory of a loved one who may not necessarily be identical to Aelita.

How she came to be will probably soon be upon us, but until then, we can never be too sure.

Concerning your theory about Aelita being a twin sister of Taelia, although they look similar, they are not complete look alikes or a complete clone of each other. Taelia had a reddish hair color while Aelita's hair is pink. Aelita's hair is styled a bit differently and has a lighter skin tone than Taelia. It's quite possible that it could have been coincidence that they look so similar, as such things are known to happen. Give Sissi a new hairstyle and probably a slight dying of her hair, and she'll look very similar to Yumi, if you've seen Missing Link.

I'm kinda leaning against the whole Taelia related to Lyoko bit. For one, after her premiere episode, she hasn't appeared ever since. Even Theo, the new student who appeared in Claustrophobia, got various cameo appearances showing that he atleast still goes to Kadic, while Taelia hasn't, not even in Season 2. This kinda points to the writers thinking that after he debut she is not of significant importance to keep in the plotline.

Second, Taelia didn't recognize Lyoko or the factory when Jeremie showed it to her. If Aelita was really her sister, Taelia would know about Lyoko, since their father did virtualize her twin sister into Lyoko. She would of course question this or atleast be suspicious of her twin sisters disappearance, if it suddenly just happened like that. And after being captured by government agents for crimes or actions concerning Lyoko, if Aelita's visions were genuine in Deja Vu, she being related to Franz Hopper would have been interrogated or even detained. Again, this is if Aelita and Taelia are twins.

Which points to Aelita and Taelia not being twins. A lot of people place Aelita's creation on Lyoko around the year of '94 which is based the ending credits during Season 2. Judging by her visions in Deja Vu, again if her visions were truly genuine, she was created in Lyoko at her present physical age. If Aelita was truly her twin, there is no way she would be 12-13 in Jeremie's grade. She would be already in or graduating college. Now if '94 was a birth year or a year marking a special time during her early childhood and not actually the date of her Lyoko existence, that would mean she was created quite recently. I would think Franz wouldn't give up one daughter to an orphanage while allowing one to remain with him, especially if they were twins, though I could be misjudging his character. That would mean Taelia and Aelita have been living with each other for a good amount of time, so if Taelia was Aelita's sister, she would recognize her name. She, of course, didn't.

Not really trying to dissuade you from thinking about this sorta stuff, but think of what I just as a little chance to retool your theory a bit.
