Okay, so has anyone actually read the manga that they made for Code Lyoko ? I was thinking of buying it, but I need opinion from people who have or haven't seen or read it. Much aprecitated!

I actually thought it was great. There are a few differences from the show. Odd says "Lazer Dart" instead of "Lazer Arrow" and Aelita is a humanoid.

Anyway I knew there was some type of manga out but I don't know whether or not its sold around local bookstores in MA. Where did you see it anyway, KuroKarasu?

Techincally the CL Manga is an "Ani-Manga" as opposed to a true manga with hand-drawn panels.
What it is, is two episodes ("Teddygozilla" and "Plagued") broken down into screenshots (in the place of comic panels) with the dialogue placed as if it were a comic. There is little deviation between the episode itself and the ani-manga version, though there is an inclusion of bios on the characters and a small back story on Lyoko and XANA at the front of the book.
At the moment, there's only one manga volume that's in English, although there are two French ones. You can order the English one at Amazon.com here.
Let me know if you're interested in the French ones as I can get you links to those and help you with the ordering if need be.

Cinemanga is evil. I like manga that people actually took diligent time to make.
If only I could draw in anime style...meh, well. I guess my psuedo-hybrid will do.

This gives me an idea! I can draw in anime, so maybe I can just make one page worth of something that happened in an episode? Or maybe even a small scene, rather than just one page. It won't look even close to a real manga, though. I'm not nearly good enough for that, nor do I have the right inking pen for it. I'll try my best, though!
