How were you introduced to CL?
It's funny how I was actually. I was babysitting a 6 year old and a 3 year old. And Miguzi came on and the song to CL started playing and the girls that I was babbysitting got all excited and said I LOVE THIS SHOW!! And they made me watch it with them. Then I started to like it and watched it everyday for fun. But I really started watching it everyday because of the beginning song.

I also caught it the first US air date. I was watching Totally Spies out of pure boredom, and it's like "Code: Lyoko up next" and I'm like WTF man? And I start watching it and I'm like "this is gay" and "giant teddy bear?!" But it grew on me and I caught it everyday...

I first saw it on Miguzi but kinda ignored it. I think the first episode I watched was the cellphone episode. Then I kinda ignored it again with the episode where Jeremie has to take a test. It wasn't until I saw Swarming Attack with the whole Ulrich/Yumi relationship going on that I was fully hooked.

I actually HATED CL for a really long time. Then, one night, my younger cousin slept over and we were all hyper. I had consumed maybe about two cans of Mountain Dew. We were laughing when my cousin says "OMG, you just sounded like that girl from Code Lyoko!" and I was like, "WTH!? Which girl? The ugly one or that other girl you see in the commercials?" (BTW, surprisingly, cuz I didn't know much about CL, "the ugly girl" was Yumi and the other one was Sissi). I also said, "Do you know her name? I think it's Ruby or something." And he had no idea, so we went online--to TvTome, BTW--and found out all the names and laughed about it. After that day, I tried watching Code Lyoko on Sunday and Sissi, who had remained my favorite character, wasn't even in the episode! Then, sometime over the next few days, my family went on vacation and all my cousin and I talked about was CL. He made up these HILARIOUS stories about the characters and from then on, we were hooked. 
I am forever indebted to this cousin of mine.. if it wasn't for him, I never would have liked CL.. meaning I never would have posted on TvTome..

Hahaha, I think everyone hated CL at first... I know I did.
The first episode I ever saw was 'Swarming Attack'. I laughed at it not because it was funny, but because I thought it was pathetic.
Came to love it later, though. =)
