Just thinking how it's been said there will be a lot of merchandise soon, and well what fan wouldn't want to listen to the various pieces of background music and intro/outro themes?

It'd sell really well if they did, that's for sure.

There is no "soundtrack" created for CL accoding to TB3.
The CD you proably saw is just a single, with Un Monde Sans Danger on it.

There's two CD's actually. And you never know, it might not be a single. BUY IT TO FIND OUT.

Yeah, I know about the CD single. That wasn't what this topic was about. It's about if you thought they would eventually release a CD with the various pieces of BGM on it.

Sure there's a soundtrack to CL. I've heard over a dozen different tracks in there. I WANT THE ONE WITH THE KICK*SS BASSLINE!! And the Lyoko battle music!

I remember hearing about a limited release CL soundtrack a while back, before Season 2 came out (or just after, can't remember). Could that be the one someone was thinking of?


But yes, I admit I'm one of the ones who wants a compilation of the BG music. LOVE the track they use now when they're getting into the scanners. And I just hope it's wide release. Given the popularity of Code Lyoko in France (or so I/we've heard) that's probably inevitable, right?

GO to CL.net and they have a couple of backround music from the DVD.
My favorite is the one at Kadiac they use. (The Season 1 one.)

Heh...according to this, they'll be releasing an official soundtrack in France on the 20th of November.

3.) Go Away (not sure on this one...the grammar is unusual in French)

5.) Unit (or possibly "Group" "Together" or "Ensemble"...any could work)

9.) Go Away (Reprise) (Heh...at least I think it is. ^^)

LyokoNet or one of the other French sites might already have clips of these...I'll look around for familiar titles. ^^

I'm talking with Herman (the composer) about that CD now - he doesn't know WTH it is, but since he doesn't hold the rights to his own music, MS might well release a CD and he wouldn't know.

Lol - to both Mew and Vora - it isn't stealing

Sometimes composers hold the rights to their music - for example when the original composers left 'Thomas the Tank Engine' they took the music rights with them - and so the studio had to hire new guys as they couldn't use any of the old stuff.

In this case though Moonscoop is the rights holder, not Herman and Serge - they compose the tunes, record and mix them, but then it's MS who decide how to use them - heck, Herman didn't recognise the Kadic Theme off cl.net as one of his mixes.

I'm curious how this will develop though - I'll keep you guys posted on any news at my end.

Herman still works as Composer, but he didn't know about this CD, and aside from initial surprise he didn't seem that bothered.

Remember guys - he agreed to the arrangement that Moonscoop would have control over his work, so he's probably cool with it.
