Mewberries151 wrote:I suppose Team Lyoko just doesn't bother with knocking down their life points alot of the time, since a good hit to the XANA eye will finish it regardless. ^_^

Mewberries151 wrote:Yep. The monster's life points do matter when they can't make a direct hit to the XANA eye for an instant kill. In one of the episodes (I'm pretty sure it was "Amnesia" ), Yumi hits a Krabe with her fan, but misses the XANA eye. Jeremie tells her it's lifepoints are down and that one more hit will finish it. Yumi takes another shot and the Krabe is destroyed. So the monsters do actually have life-points.

I thought that was in "Claustrophobia"

It could have been....but I'm pretty sure it's "Amnesia" because I think I remember the scene taking place in the Polar Region. Claustrophobia's battle takes place in the "Forest Region" and has the infamous "Yumi save". I'll have to go check my tapes to be sure. ^_^
SamBlob wrote:Actually, it probably did happen in "Claustrophobia" because I remember it happening in the Forest Region...
The sudden appearance of the Krabs (similar to virtualization) is what I remember from "Amnesia" ("I'm sick of always being right!" - Yumi)

Which reminds me; I need to find those video tapes I bought in April to tape Season 2.

Now that reminds me of how many times they changed Season 2's release date. From April to May, then to June, finally 'till September. At least, that's what I know of...

The singing ability is said to take 50 from Aelita, and I believe the starting amount is 100- but she used it twice today, so if that estimate is right, she should've devirtualized into nothing. Also, it seems like lasers have different damages from show to show- and Wikipedia lists our heroes as having an impossibly low 50 to start with. Is there ANY consistency to be found on this issue? Anywhere? Because it seems like life points are just stated when convenient to up the drama. And you'll note the numbers on the cards are always difficult to read- probably because of all this.
