Interesting. No sound, though

I hope aiming is easier than that and the player of the demo just happens to be a little lame.

That said, it actually looks to be shapeing up a little better than I would have predicted. I'm still holding judgement until we can see more than this, but at the core, that looks like the gameplay I'd want.

I pray to god they handle this thing with kid gloves. This game should sell because its a good game first then the fact that it ties in with the show should come in second.

I'm curious if they're going to try to make this thing a part of the cannon storyline or it's going to exist as in its own continuity.

Code Lyoko is no John Cena. That goes for the "kid gloves" comment.

Not all games based off tv shows tie with the series. It really doesn't have to, I suppose.

Heh, looks interesting. Anyone notice those scores, though? The movie itself got a 4.9 average. The actual game got a 6.0. Apparently some people don't like it. ^_^

EDIT: I know the fact that these are pre-release scores. I'm just commenting on it.

Well it looked good and it seems they're staying close to the source material.

...But like the first TNA wrestling game thats comming out, I'm expecting it to suck terribly. I'll still buy a DS just for it, but I'm still keeping my expectations low.

^^;

Heh...that for sure, is due in part to the difference in resolution between a DS screen and the typical Internet video resolution (the pixel size, if you will). I highly doubt they will look like that on the actual DS screen. *sweatdrops*

This is yet another example as to why Internet video and compression can be a very bad thing. XD;

I believe the common theory is that a lot of the storyline elements have been borrowed from a few of the more popular episodes. I remember seeing a screenshot of Ulrich in the Scanner Room with Odd and Aelita, with a speech caption saying something along the lines of, "Huh? She didn't reappear! We'd better talk to Jeremie about this." Which to me sounds a lot like it's borrowing from "Missing Link"...which for me is cool. *giggles*
"Hey, make up your mind. Am I a genius or a creep?"
"You're a creepy genius."

This is the first time I saw in-lyoko gameplay, it looks really good, I partially wanted to see odd get devirtulized by the tarantulas. I feel this game is going to be on of those unappriciated ones T_T, but we will love it anyway
