Thought you guys would like to know that an internal meeting with director Nicolas Atlan is to be scheduled for this week or the next to discuss his current plans for Code Lyoko. More details will be given after the meeting is over.

Ok well the meeting apparently took place some time this weekend, the French Website is saying that they are working on a brand new website that will cover much more than the site that they have now. Why are they making a new Website you ask? well another thing that was coverd in the meeting was relased to the genral public. nothing except the words

"something of very big one" gets ready for in an or two months (translated)

Anyway, hopefully this promises to be something good. And it does show that progress is being made, so CL apparently isn't dead yet. ^^

It better be big enough to force CL to get off it's lazy butt and air the rest of S4. Otherwise, it's just fanboy level big. Which I know would be a big deal in the CL community, just not...ya know.

If anything, it's those 3 background episodes they promised us oh so long ago. If it's something else like OMG S5, I'll eat my shoe and jump for joy! Barefoot. Then I'll sit down and wonder if they'll do it right, not purely for fan satisfaction. Because fans will never be satisfied. Ever.

As I recall, they already made some prequal episodes and aired them with S3. If you're expecting more, I think we may have to come up with it ourselves. 'New website' doesn't perk me up much, if they had something to announce, I figure they just would have been out with it at this point. Wonder if the website will be talking about the books we've seen are in the pipeline?

As for the rest of S4 airing, thats a CN thing, or online if Kabillion gets the rights. It's not really something you can fuss at Moonscoop over, more of a distributor problem.

Considering that there are novels coming out, I doubt that the People in Charge would let the opportunity to increase promotion and the size of the viewership pass them by. I was pretty sure that there was a "revival" for the show coming up (and sorry if I didn't keep up with the news here in a while... I was cheating on you with the Oban site) so the news of a conference to discuss how things are heading seems perfectly natural and to be expected to me.

Well, in any case, any fan bait is good fan bait.

One of the reasons I got into Oban was because I saw Thomas Romain in the credits.

Not that it didn't turn out to be a totally radical show by its own merits, of course.

I would perfer it if perhaps instead of calling it CL season 5 they just called it garage kids. pepole seem to really like the name and it would be cool if they used it and created either A. a spin off or B. season 5.

Like CL has huge foreheads, so Oban has a distinct lack of noses. They both are good.

I hear you, friend. OSR is indeed a masterpiece. In fact, it's a magic automaton that could be used to simultaneously dispell any myths about anime, western animation, and science-fiction being a hack's genres, like most of the mainstream seems to think. Ordinarily, you'd need three different (good) shows to do that, but Oban finishes the job in one fell swoop. What a maverick! Can't wait for Savin Yeatman-Eiffel's sequel / spiritual successor to appear.

Can't help but wonder what the child of an OSR person and a CL person would look like.
