How similar was your middle school experience to that of the Lyoko Warriors?

I mean excluding the whole "saving the world on a weekly basis" thing.

Mine was way different, mostly due to school structure, I s'pose.

Barely.
For one thing, it wasn't a boarding school. And I didn't have the threat of XANA. :P

My 8th Grade science teacher made Mrs Hertz look like the best teacher ever.

And the lunch lady wasn't even close to being as awesome as Rosa Petitjean.

To tell you the truth, most of my teachers were like how Jim mostly is - cruel monsters. I don't think I wanna say much more.

My middle school experience was way different. We didn't have an infirmary. Nor dorms. Nor a demonic artificial intelligence bent on total world domination.
Though we did have awesome science teachers; my favorite was my 8th grade teacher.
I really gotta fix up this theme

I am/was homeschooled.

I got to beat log cabins with dart guns.

That's about it.

I am/was homeschooled.

Hmm... like Aelita :D

I had quite normal, Mrs. Meyer-like, boring teachers at Junior High. As for the dorm: judging by my 3-year experience at living in a dorm during High School, Kadic dorm is way more cool. Were they in my place, they wouldn't be able to sneak out to the factory so easily :D and would be under stricter law and order policy...
But my dorm's supervisor is just like Jim, everybody fears her, but she's just fine when you know how to talk to her.

Wow, have I been away a long time.

But on topic,

It wasn't that similar. I was pretty withdrawn back then. So... yeah, the whole "Friends" thing didn't really apply to me.

I had three friends, later just two, and I only kept one of them all the way up to present day. The school wasn't located so close to the town, it was kind of in the outskirts of it, so I couldn't just walk out and into the hubbub of urban life like the Lyoko Warriors can. The lunchroom had no windows, only fluorescent lights, and it was smack dab in the middle of campus (right across from the library), so that was the biggest difference between Kadic and my junior high. All classrooms ever are pretty much the same, on the other hand. My friends and I would hang out either at the library, until we got kicked out almost every day, or in the more desolate schoolyards were hardly anyone was hanging out. And we'd talk about games and stuff.
