What the nut is with our life points? The singing ability is said to take 50 from Aelita, and I believe the starting amount is 100- but she used it twice today, so if that estimate is right, she should've devirtualized into nothing. Also, it seems like lasers have different damages from show to show- and Wikipedia lists our heroes as having an impossibly low 50 to start with. Is there ANY consistency to be found on this issue? Anywhere? Because it seems like life points are just stated when convenient to up the drama. And you'll note the numbers on the cards are always difficult to read- probably because of all this.

Yeah... that's basically it. Just assume that the fight scenes are heavily edited, and everything becomes clear. (Actually, they probably are. Maybe in first edits, the life points make sense.)
