Franz Harper's whereabouts?

Funny that Jeremy has not had the common sense to try and trace the whereabouts of Franz harper who in all likelihood created XANA in the first place!

How about this for a scenario--Franz creates XANA. XANA gets out of his control and he tries to destroy the program. XANA imprisons Franz on Lyoko in Sector 5 (Carthage) using the Roman general's name as a password to further confuse anyone trying to help FH and get rid of XANA!

It would explain the stepped up defenses and the reason why it is so hard to access Sector 5 too!

Hi Dylan 513, Sorry but I dunno how to post figures like cute lil bunnies into forums and stuff. Anyway, where do you think FH is and how did he get there if he isn't on Lyoko in Carthage (or polar/forest/mountain or desert sectors)? Is he still on Earth? Is he perhaps one of Jeremy/Odd/Ulrich/Yumi's teachers? Maybe that weirdo throwback to the 1970's guy who gave Jeremy the IQ test and was afraid of his own shadow? Sure would explain his fear of everything, wouldn't it? Later-K&K

He's dead. He's got to be. Otherwise he would've tried to contact Jeremie or Jeremie would've found out if he was in Carthage (He's able to find all life forms on Lyoko, and now that they have access to Sector 5, shouldn't his "radar" have picked something up?)

My personal theory is that after whatever happened with XANA and Lyoko happened, Hopper fled the country, trying to get away from whoever was "above" him and to escape his failure. Maybe the gang will eventually get in contact with him. Maybe he'll find out about them.

It seems from 'Deja Vu' ep that Franz is trying to tell Aelita something and he wants her to know very desperately. The other suited dudes looked like government agent types, did they not?

OK-Maybe XANA was a government project developed by FH with gov't backing. Then he found out they wanted XANA for a weapon and he tried to destroy XANA.

Is he still alive? Why hasn't Jeremy tried to locate FH?

I think Jeremie hasn't tried to contact Hopper because he presumes him dead (his house has been abandoned for like 10+ years...)

What I got from Deja Vu was that the Police Judiciaire or some other French intelligence agency found out about Hopper's "Carthage Project" and the capabilities of the time-altering device, and decided to step in because he posed a potential threat to the country (skip the country.. anyone with that kind of power, including the ability to materialize life-- Dr. Gibson's main reason for taking over the Factory in my fanfic-- poses a potential threat to the entire world.)

Cassius 335 and Your DeVirtualization Lyoko team member-- OK, apparently you trust governments too much! Far from being concerned about public safety, they usually try to use everything for weapons!

Second--Check MY ff--Xmas with the Dirty Pair on www.fanfiction.net/anime/dirtypair/keimanandkei You will find that some people can cloak or mask their powers and bodies from any kind of radar traceries! To protect himself from XANA I am sure FH would have done this!

Well! We almost thought it was all over for the poor kiddies! Franz himself shows up only (MAJOR SPOILER HERE) he's really XANA in disguise and surprise! he's trying to kill Yumi, Odd, Ulrich and Aelita as well as Jeremy. He needs to drain Aelita's memory first though. And Jeremy is getting disgusted and almost goes to another school! Thank goodness he realized in time that FH was not FH really! Wonder if he'll do some research on the guy now? See ya soon-K&K

Well...XANA (as Franz Hopper) said he'd been imprisoned on Lyoko for some time, and that he'd only managed to free himself at that moment. While XANA isn't a very trustworthy source...it is a possibility.

I really like the idea of him being trapped in a Guardian. I miss those XANA monsters so it'd be great if they could make an appearance again (maybe in an Odd FlashVision? ). They were my favorite "unique" monsters. ^^

I think that it was simply XANA's comvenient explanation. Of course, that's probably because my personal opinion is that Hopper fled the country...
