If "Battle of the Fates" plays during this scene, I'm going to explode (not with anger though). Now I really want to see this episode! I can't wait to see this in action!!

I find it interesting though that the clone doesn't have a symbol on his back like Ulrich does on his outfit. Surely XANA could have put in an "oh so stylish" XANA symbol for his evil clone.

And the clone didn't had a XANA symbol on any part of the body, unless the bandana wasn't shown well on one scene, just like a nitpick (meaning that XANA-Ulrich had a XANA logo on its bandana). Man, if we had nitpick trailers...

When people are possessed by XANA their eyes become his logos and he is able to use his powers through them. He has talked several times, but through other people's voices. Recently he was able to activate two towers with the unwilling help of Jeremie. In the latest episode, he manages to activate five at one time. When XANA possessed the school nurse, Jeremie activated a tower that glowed green instead of XANA's trademark red.

Jeremie gave Odd the same powers XANA used when he possessed people and took on the possessed nurse. However, Jeremie's towers can only be activated for a short amount of time and XANA took over the tower Jeremie used to give Odd super powers. He pushed Odd's powers to his limits, slowly killing him, but the others managed to deactivate the tower in time.

I saw that episode. It's the one where they're taking their medical exam, the one with the line that goes sort of like this (not necessarily an exact quote) :

Nurse Dorothy or Yolande or whatever: "Odd, I don't understand how come you're so scrawny! Are you eating enough?"

Jeremy: "Yeah, enough for an average elephant..."

Actually, Odd was dying because Xana took control of the tower that Jeremie activated, and instead of controlling him, decided it was better just to drain him dry.

Anyways, evil clone, #42 in the big book of classic (cliche) story plots. After watching A Fine Mess, doing the whole body swap thing, I was wondering when they would get around to evil clone. And judging by the fact that the clone turned into Ulrich from Odd, I'm guessing one of two possibilities.

1. Xana's evil clone has already fought and dispatched Odd. If thats the case, I'm hoping that all 3 defenders are defeated, to make it fair. Odd's performance this season in terms of monster killing, has been kinda down compared to Season 1, if you compare statistics.

2. The clone is actually Jeremie's creation. For whatever reason, Jeremie thought it necessary to create a clone of Odd for usage. Seeing how he created a decoy of Aelita in Franz Hopper, I wouldn't say its beyond his abilities, but to create an accurate clone, he had to activate a tower since around the same time clone turned to Ulrich, the tower which was green meaning Jeremie activated, turned red. I'm glad about that. Jeremie activating a tower is probably the thing I wished most for them to continue in terms of plot device, and they did. Also to support this hypothesis, note that when comparing the color scheme of the clone, Odd's avatar were pretty accurate to his normal colors, while Ulrich's was almost completely different.

Either way, this certainly ups my anticipation for Revelation.

I meant the concept of creating an evil duplicate that had the same abilities of the one being replicated, as to exploit its weaknesses. You know, your worst enemy is yourself. But yeah, Image Problem and Xana's Kiss did kinda slip my mind for a bit, and are evil clones though not in the way I thought. In Image Problem and Xana's Kiss, it was a super strong look-alike, not an exact replica. Didn't have the same abilities as the normal Lyoko gang, but you are right, the evil clone thing sorta has been done before.

Uhh... what? I don't think that Jeremie ever has been able to discover the possessed people before they made their move. Or are you talking about something else?

I think mabey like change the ebb color of the towers, so that instead of red it changes only a slightest shade of blue that the eye couldn't pick up.
That way Jeremie'd think there was something wrong with the program and he'd have to fix it. To fix it he'd have to disable it and send everyone to Lyoko and sector 5. then cut off communications to the real world and wage a huge overwhelming attttack.

So in a sense, nothing is wrong so everything is wrong.

Oh... you mean changing the color of the towers? I don't know if that's possible... although if XANA could make a tower (and more) disappear, he could probably change its color. Interesting... maybe we'll see it next season. Maybe it'll be the episode where Jeremie finally goes to Lyoko (and we can SEE him...)
