I agree with that wholeheartedly. Teebs is one of the most responsible people I've ever met, and he deserved the admin job.

Stephen has an awesome sense of humor, and his posts always have that daily insanity I need, with the coupling of being responsible.

As for Mewberries...I can't think of words to describe all the reasons she deserved to be an admin. Anyone who attempts to will be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

To my understanding, we mods...err, I (I'm the last mod xD; I'm endangered! ) can point out people, but I don't actually have the power to give them the...err, power. Only admins can do that. But I think overall it's a group consensus thing; if ANY of us with abilities at the board sees someone, then we suggest it to the rest of the group, the group talks it over, and we make a decision.

*snickers* Perhaps we could become an "anarco-sydicalist commune"? If someone gets that joke...they get kudos. X)


In any case, I personally wouldn't object to a group consensus thing. If anything, I'd think that'd likely be the fairest way to have things work. ^_^

First off I wanna stress that I'm not going to be completely dead from the site. I will check up occasionally, and I'll be helping out here and there. I'm still webmistressing the place (at the cost of $120/year, mind you) so I'm certainly not moving on for good.

Secondly, it's up to the new admins to assign moderator positions to people they believe to be fit for the task. They'll be doing it the same way I did. Basically, if they think you'll do a good job, you'll get the offer. As a regular user, however, it's not your place to ask (seriously) for modship as that just makes you look greedy. Cool? Cool.

(And yes, I know you guys were just joking with the bribe thing, but I thought I'd mention that anyway. ^^)

Thirdly... well, actually, I think that about covers it.

Over the past few months, I've heard various members calling each other "suck-ups" for supporting Star Way and the mods. Is there something wrong with respecting an administrator or is my head all messed-up? The latter is true, but that's not the point.

Well, I haven't seen any of Teh EBIL Stephy's posts here, so I can't offer my opinion on that, but I cannot honestly say that I was surprised when TB3 and Mew became admins. Though I'm still kind of in the middle stage between n00b and vet, having been here for nearly a year, I have still seen the dedication that you have, and I hope that you continue to remain dedicated in the future, now that you are admins.

I'm sorry to see you go, Erynn. You've been a great admin and webmistress. This site is definitely a great place for all things Lyoko and more, and I'm glad that I get to be a part of it now. At least drop by to see how things are going every once in a while, maybe post a bit too.

Well, I guess it's time for you to pass the torch. Let's see how well the new admins carry it.
