Only 21 days ago, we were celebrating our 200th member. And here we are now, 10 numbers away from Lyoko Freak’s 300th member. Does this make your feel for Erynn, or do you shack your head disapprovingly like Ob-Wan?

Well, whoever ends up as #300 won't be (at least according to the memberlist) at the end of this month. I'll be doing a user sweep then and deleting all the accounts with 0 posts (which is like... over 100...) so we'll probably have between 150 to 200 users by then.
Of course, your true user number can be seen in the URL to your profile, and never changes no matter how many people before you have been deleted. For example, mine is #2.

It used to be that the mysterious user #1 actually had a profile, but it has disappeared strangely... Then there was also the incident where user number one actually POSTED. All the info is on that thread. Weirdness...

I just finished counting all the users who don't have one post to their name. It comes out to 111/291, meaning that 38% of the users registered don't post while 62% of us do. Only 180 have posted at least once.

I think many of them created a username but used an invalid e-mail address in doing so... As a result, they never confirmed their account, so when they couldn't log in they just said, "Ehh, screw it."
It is rather bizarre though, isn't it? Kind of frustrating on my part, too... 111 unused names is a lot to have to go through and delete.

Right. There will be a cut-off point where 0-posters won't be deleted... It will probably be for members who joined about a month before now.
I'll be getting into the habit of deleting inactive accounts more regularly after this, though.

Exactly. I'll really only be deleting users that have posted before if I know for a fact that they'll never be coming back. (For example, on the first page of the memberlist there's a user called GiRL ULRiCH. That's Katie's old account that she abandoned when she began experiencing login failures on it. I'll be deleting it since it's unusable now.
But I wouldn't delete you, because I know you're active (even if you leave for a while.)
And thank you very much, bduddy. It does my heart good to know that people enjoy themselves here.
Edit: well, even though technically the memberlist says that we're still 4 away from 300, someone still has the userinfo number 300. Someone called "grace12."
