Reporting accidents/spam

I think there should be a sticky somewhere on the forum for people to report spam or topics they made by acccident. I just recently put a topic in "general discussion" when it should have been put in "rant".

As of now, just PM mods (possibly the admins.) if there's a problem. We'll let Star Way decide this later.

But reporting spam would count as spam. Simply saying 'blah blah this guy spammed blah' would just up your postcount, so everyone would go around looking for spam..

Was there some phpBB mod to add button "Report"?

That was only on VBulletin and InvisionFree... it's not on phpBB. At least... I don't think so ^^;

That's why we have PMs.

Incidentally, just asking a person to stop spamming and abstaining from spam yourself can go a long way. I know it's easy to slide off-topic from time to time, but it's a resposibility to make sure that you either turn it back around or suggest going to the PMs to continue it in privacy.

The Admin and the Mods can delete posts, so even a post reporting spam (which isn't technically spam really) can be deleted along with the spam posts, making the thread proverbially clean as a whistle.
