My dad is a total moron

Just a few minutes ago, my parents went grocery shopping. I asked my dad to buy some tacos. When he got back, he said he thought I said "tackle" (you know, the fish) and so he bought shark meat.

Anybody have a taco I can borrow?

My daddy's somethin like that. When Katie said she'd call me later, My mom said if the phone rang, I could get it. I told my dad, an he said "Okay, I'll get it." Then we got in a pointless arguement for 5 minutes.

I'm currently making a videocast, competing against G-Forces and BBC's except with video and sound. And I call upstairs to my mom that I'm making a Video Journal and ask her not to come downstairs. so halfway through the cast, what does she do? Come downstairs without a shirt on.

No, the point of this post is that many parents are stupid and either forget or misunderstand like 80% of what you say.

I am a lucky kid. My parents understand me completely and 100%. They won't even let me get away with telling my friends that I am "misunderstood." Not that I would do that in the first place.

If they do misunderstand me, it's more like... 5% of the time, and even then, I am exaggerating a little.

Ahem... if you're gonna call your dad a moron just because of mistaking food, then it doesn't even deserve to be a thread, not even on Rant. You even make it sound like a random thing with the "Anybody have a taco I can borrow?" line. It was just a misunderstanding your dad made.
