What happened to you today?

This is only my second thread outside of the rant and newbie section ever so I won't argue if you lock this.

This is a place where you can talk about something funny or interesting or sad or whatever that happened to you today but doesn't really deserve a rant.

For example: The reason I made this thread is because I did something today that I thought was hilarious but isn't important enough to put in the rant section. On my way out the door from work today It was about 90 degrees. My truck was on the other side of this football field sized parking lot. My freind pulls up next to me in his truck to invite me to his house this afternoon. I, in all of my genius, decide "why dont I hop on the bumper and get a ride over to my truck." BAD IDEA. I went and hopped on and grabbed the tailgate edges and put my foot between the trailer hitch and the bumper for more stability. He takes off like a bat outta heck and I manage to hold on. He hits a pot hole at around 60 miles an hour. I lose my grip fall backwards and get my foot stuck in the trailer hitch. I get dragged about 50 feet until my shoe slips off andI finaly come tumbling to a stop. Most people get scared in this situation. For some reason it was hilarious to me. Keith comes runnig back over to me after he stops and he thinks I am crying but he gets over to me and I am LMAO sitting there bleeding from the knuckles which were the first things to hit the ground. My denim jacket is torn to shreds and I got a huge gash on my arm. He tries to make me go to the hospital but I just tie a shred of my jacket around my arm to stop the bleeding and get in my truck and drive home, laughing the whole time. It doesn't sound hilarous but it seemed that way to me.

So I figured "why not put a thread here so other people can talk about something funny that happened to them that isnt worth a rant."

Well, I learned how to ride a lawn mower in sixth gear in reverse... and I went swimming and made a whirlpool, til my ankle cramped and I drowned, then God sent me back here because I've died like a million times allready and he wants me OUT of there... JK!

And I went to a fireworks show, and A few firewoks misfired on the bridge over the Merrimack River, and I was about 200 feet away, and My chest hurst from the sound and shock, other than that, I'm great!

Ooooh.

Well I woke up and my cousin drove me, my parents, and my outher cousin down to the Bart station and we rode it down to downtown Berkeley. I got Starbucks, then we went across the street to UCB. We took a walk around campus and I visited an admissions counselor and obtained some sheets and a small booklet on Berkeley and the UC campuses. Theeen I bought myself an assignment planner and a shirt and a sweater and a calculator. We ate lunch at Subway then headed back home on the Bart. Then my cousin drove us to Baskin Robbins where I had cookies and cream ice cream in a waffle cone, mmm. Then we went back home and my other cousin started telling jokes and stuff and then we ate dinner. So after that my parents left to go running and I did homework so now I'm here 8D That was my day.
