If he told him "f**king mahgreb", then he succeeded in pissing off Zidane badly.

Zidane's foul was vicious and disgusting.
Although Italia was very tired toward the end of the second half, I believe we played better on the whole.
Our goal took skill, while France's was just a penalty kick... Zidane carried that team and with him (&Henry) gone, they didn't stand a chance.

Dude, Rooney's foul on Carvalho's testicles was painfull. But Zidane's foul owned.

France did better than Italia in the end. Stupid Materazzi pissed Zidane off and then hell broke loose. He attacked him before the headshot.

And don´t forget about Vieira being injured.

I definitely think Italia deserved to win it...they are a good team..no matter what happens on the field..ya know. I enjoyed the matches..the teams gave it their all..although some could have been better...overall I still enjoyed it.

Italy was lackluster, but they had to break their 0-for streak at penalty kicks sometime, didn't they? They were the favorites going into the match, but I felt France had all the momentum. A shame Zidane had to ruin that momentum (and perhaps his reputation, now that he's retiring). On a funnier note, great avatar, Rodri.
