Casino Royale

Postby TL. » Wed Nov 15, 2006 4:58 pm

Bond. James Bond.

The new bond film, Casino Royale with Daniel Craig starring as the sixth actor to portray 007 is out tomorrow in Britain (Friday for USA)

Is the hype justified? Has the reinvention of the series work? Will the new, grittier Bond appeal to the public?

I'm very keen to see this (along with my Dad, how hasn't enjoyed the recent outings) are you?

BTW, Eva Green, the new Bond Girl, has worked along side with our dear Matthew Geczy on a French dud of one of her films.

I've never seen any of the bond movies, but I hope that it's good anyway. Bond is a legond, and the soundtracks awesome. Even my HS marching band did it, in my sofomore year. Best marching year EVER!!!!

I've seen almost all the Bond films since I was a kid (my dad's a huge fan.. he's got the books too x.x). Casino Royale seems refreshing. I plan on seeing it when it comes out. ^^

Pierce Brosnan wouldn't last forever.

Hope this new Bond goes well.

You merely fixed it.

More decent, I guess...

Anyone saw this movie? I went to the movies last night and I kinda enjoyed it... it was really a prequel... Bond's earlier missions. He wasn't that experienced and the best parts were the scenes chasing the african guy and the airport scene. Mind-blowing. Daniel Craig played Bond decently. And the torture scene was... damn. But this was hilarious.

James Bond wrote:Now the whole world will know that you died scratching my balls!

Anyways, good movie. Daniel Craig's no Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan, but he plays the Bond role well.

The franchise needed a revamp because it had gotten very campy/borderline farce. The prequel route was the best choice to revive the staleness that was Bond. It was more of an interesting movie than entertaining, yet it still sucked you in. I enjoyed it merely because it was more like the Ian Fleming novels than any other Bond movie.

It's all very scientifical. |D
