I am a php coder and I work around from here to there...

I've seen too many spambots in my few visits here, and am going through the PHPBB registration code and am finding a way to stop these damned spambots. Upon completion, I will inform everyone. I hope the admins will consider this, and I hope it will work. Know that there are no risks since the current file can be backed up. Thanks.

Umm, in order for them to consider it, they would have to know about it first...doing something without their consent could bring a bit of trouble and confusion.
