Rockman/ Megaman

Okay, admit it. Who here is a fan of Rockman.exe/ Megaman.exe?

They share a bunch of similarities to CL:

-Both deal with a virtual world
-Characters inside the virtual world have to stop evil AI's from attacking it
-Bad guy uses hordes of viruses (the equivelant to monsters)


But I personally think that if they were put on a level playing field, the Megaman dudes would kick Lyoko's *ss.

What do you guys think?

Ok, I don't know all the newfangled .exe stuff, but what I do remember is kicking robot master arse in the old games. It would definately be a heated battle because of the Lyoko Warriors ability to dodge and deflect laser attacks. I think that the Megaman side would win, no matter who from that side you entered into the batle.

I was wondering when you'd post a topic like this, Zero xD ^^. I think it's obvious that I, personally, am a fan of EXE but I'm also a big, big fan of all things Megaman. I know my DS frequently has a Megaman game in both slots-- Heck, it does right NOW! xD (BN5 in the GBA, ZX in the DS.) An MMX Zero figure stands in front of my Classic Cutman figure, who stands near my Bass.EXE figure. So yeah, I'm a fan of Megaman ;P xD


And for the record, I love the Lyoko crew but yeah, the MM characters would kick their butts, no matter WHICH series you pulled them from xD

Yeah, even if you put the characters on the same point system (One HP on Lyoko would equal one point in the EXE world), consider the strength of the attacks. One sword (a begining-level attack) does eighty damage. and honestly? it only gets higher.

Though the Lyoko people have one distinct advantage: they know to aim for the symbol on their enemies (aka XANA eye). There's some who think that the crest that all netnavis have are where a lot of the data is held, which is why when Bass got slashed there, he went Crazy.

Yeah, I got it from Wal-Mart about two years ago xD; I see them on eBay sometimes though ^^. I've also got a Classic Forte figure around here...somewhere....

Yeah, I'll give the Lyoko warriors that much, too. But not every Navi has it front and center-- Numberman, for instance, has his on his head. Gyroman's got it...well, I don't remember where, but I don't think it's on his chest xD; And who KNOWS where Junkman's is.

Besides what you said, there's also the fact that the warriors only have a couple attacks at their disposal. HOW many do Navis have again? ;P xDDD And even in the Classic-verse, the X era, or any other Megaman series, there's more variety to their attacks, meaning greater adaptability to any situation. I still go with "Yeah, anyone from Megaman could kick their butts"
