Latkes and kokowska

I've noticed all the mind-numbing threads are about food that's more or less produced primarily in the US.


What do you think of Latkes and Kokowska?

Latkes are potato pancakes, and kokovska(sp?) is Polish Meat, not unlike ham, except for its far superior taste.

Do you mean Krakus or Kotlet schabowy, maybe? I'm familiar with both. But I'm pretty sure you mean Krakus.

Oh wow yeah they're the yummiest food in the world and guess what I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THEM BEFORE.

And this is coming from the person living in a country where Polishness is starting to 'spread'. Although Latkes sounds like potato bread. :| (If you look that up on wiki, the picture it shows looks NOTHING like the type I'm talking about -_-; It's like a square with a creamy brownish colour and you fry it... although those are farls so they might be different... gee I'm hungry [/Irish food ramble])

I'm not exactly a 'try every food in sight' kind of person, so I probably won't even 'try' these if I ever find them. >_>;
